Absolutely horrible. The author obviously stopped caring during his hiatus and just slapped something together so the anime could have an ending. This series didn't just jump the shark, it flew over it with a jet-pack.

I'm on episode 11 right now. Can someone please tell me wich version is more faithful to the novels, the manga or the anime?

I haven't read the novels yet (can't find it $:-\$ ) but I like the anime not the manga version

What hiatus are you talking about? BTW the anime ends in episode 24 and the anime is an adaptation of the light novels.

The anime is really good, the voice acting, animation and art style are superb, but it's an adaptation of all the light novels in only 24 episodes, so a lot of details of the story, characters and mysteries are left out. That's why in the anime some episodes feel rushed and Victorique appears to solve almost magically some cases.

The manga is good too as it extends the mysteries and the solutions are logically sound, it also introduces new characters and you can see Victorique smoking, but so far the manga only has 4 chapters.

If you like gosick I would recommend both, but you can always read the novels.

So what? the light novels are different from the anime, we don't know how faithful the ending of the anime is to the novels. You can't judge the author of the novels based on the anime, the anime is just an adaptation.

Honestly, I kinda agree that the author didn't care at all with the ending and the anime kept that ending roughly the same. The conclusion felt very out of place and was probably the worst part of the series for me.

Just finished the ending and it was okay. I just wish that they could have made this a longer series and not rush the whole plot. I guess it's time for me to read the light novels. By the way, how in the world did Victorique's hair turned silver? I honestly like her golden hair better.

Agreed. The only thing I can think of is that, isn't there some old wives' tale of sorts that if you worry your hair turns gray? So I guess it turned gray because she was worried about Kujo? That's my best guess anyway.
