They're going to milk Pokemon dry. I hate it when that happens. It means that your most prevalent memories of a franchise aren't the games you enjoyed, but the merchendising and features that annoyed the crap out of you toward the end.

I've actually quite enjoyed every new combat feature they've implemented as the generations go on.  Held items and natures in gen2, abilities in gen3, physical/special split in gen4.  I don't think gen5 really offers anything like that though.  They spent so much time making it "fresh" that they forgot to add something fresh to the combat.  And no, 3v3 doesn't count.

Agreed, 3v3 is just a lame addition which proves that they are just a tad lazy to invent new styles. The 3v3 switch mode or something like that isn't very attractive to me though, there's that randomness within it. Which sorta sucks.

How about the "move combinations" thingy? I think I saw Tsutarja and Pokabu creating some sort of a Sea of Fire in a promo vid... (I actually wished that Ho-oh's Sacred Fire and Lugia's Aeroblast could combine in 2v2 to create a devastating fire tornado. Probably not gonna happen though )

That should be able to happen in 2v2 as well though.  3v3 is just being lazy on their part.  It's only a matter of time before we get free for all battles, where you send out all 6 at once.

Another f*cked-up thing is Adeku's battle theme. I just don't feel the "Champion" feel with that theme

But the 3v3 is indeed a consequence of lazyness. I support 2v2, I have my amusment with it, but 3v3...

Nothing special about it, this is a kind of standard moveset for legendary pokemon.

Nothing special except for Blaze Judgment. Assist Power could have been awesome if Victini has Nasty Plot/Calm Mind. The only unique moveset I can give this guy is:
Psych Up
Swagger
Flare Blitz
Brick Break/Return/Overheat

I thought this one's Uber but he seems to be very welcome in OU
