Anyway, I watched the episode 1 of the new OVA, and I must say that the fight was EXTREMELY interesting. No other fight in any other manga or anime besides for one(the finales of Slayers NEXT and Slayers Evolution-R) have got me pulled in that much into it.

And in that Manga page you can find over 25 of the students Sayo, Ayaka, Eva, Natsumi are the only ones I dont see I think although Natsumi could be covered by the garbage can next to Chizuru (which fits her) Notice Chisame waiting for the rush to go and Kaede jumping over the train.

They destroyed Negima! They didn't even dare put Kotarou in that series.

Chisame was actually the first one I noticed. She was really standing out inside that train.

I've actually watched a few episodes on Funimation.
But the show is a bit... boring.

I want to see some more wizards/witches/etc and more action.
The girls are annoying.

It's because the first anime series ruined it.
You'll see the huge difference if you read it's manga counterpart. The manga is more shonen-like and has more action in it.
