Well, I´m not angry that Naruto is somehow more popular than Naruto, it just baffles me, to be honest.

DC fans are just angry that Naruto is popular and DC isn't (or maybe they hate it just because of the fandom). But I'll try to be optimistic and not believe that.

Well, I´m not angry that Naruto is somehow more popular than Naruto, it just baffles me, to be honest.
Then there is this difference between DC´s popularity in Japan, Europe and the States...
Both Naruto and DC are succesful in Japan and Europe (it seemed to me), but Naruto is really the most popular manga/anime in the States and this is why I was quite surprised that I only got answers like "Oh, you mean Case Closed, or something...?
Yeah, I remember it being aired some time ago... it wasn´t that interesting" when I asked if someone likes DC.
I know it´s not about "deserving popularity" or anything, but DC is running since practically forever and although there are
often less important parts before we get to see something exciting again, it has still a large amount of readers and fans.
There has to be be something good about a manga who is able to manage this, right...?XD
Naruto Shippuden has been dragging a lot lately and there just isn´t something to be excited about anymore... for me, the following happings are too predictable.

I liked Naruto before but my enthusiasm for DC erased it [but not completely]. I like DC because you have the choice to think about the solution to a case, not just wait on your toes for the next chapter not having a clue. I was born inquisitive [or so they say.. my kindergareten teacher were really annoyed at me.], that's probably why I gravitate toward DC.

A Naruto versus DC debate?  That's kinda...hard to do.  DC is a relatively old anime and Naruto and Bleach are both in Shonen Jump...

Anyways  DC is really popular in Europe and Asia.  The reason why it hasn't reached the States is because from what I can see the States (media wise) only caters "action" anime.  Or anime that sells merchandise.  From what I heard DC was aired on adult swim before it was taken off - and I'm sure people lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it at the time likes DC.

I don't hate Naruto only because it's popular.  The reason why I like it less now is because it's redudant.  It's not like DC where I have a fun mystery to solve every week.  It's like Sasuke/Itachi fight redundant.  I just LOVE the beginnings of Naruto, I remember staying awake refreshing the page waiting for the next chapter to come out during the "forest of death" trial (I was young, so sue me).  He's an amazing story teller and changed the face of Shonen manga forever...but fact is I just don't care about his characters as much as I used to.  Maybe it's the effects of badass decay and fangirls/bois messing with everything...then it really is the fault of popularity xD.

Bleach, Naruto, Fruits Basket, Death Note = overrated. [no offence to fans. Also, did you notice that Kappei Yamaguchi did voiceovers in most of the said series? :0]

I watched One Piece once (pun?) but it wasn't enough to get me interested to read the first manga chapter/volume the moment I finished watching the episode (read: that anime with the hot detective 8D and Law of Ueki~)

FMA is okay, but doesn't -click- with me unlike DC. But I love the fact that both Ed's and Al's seiyuu's are women! xD

My least favorite anime are those anime with harem and/or reverse harem in it. I just don't like those kinds.

I like both Naruto and DC. But I'm more hooked in DC than in Naruto. Haven't read the latest Naruto chapter either (I'm an anti-Sasuke fan XD he's too emo). I suppose I'm not in the mood to read one.

to be fair, this is true with 99 percent of shonen. You need to watch it for a while to actually care.

Bleach IS overrated, Naruto is overrated after season 3, I never saw Death Note but it probrably is overrated because of people being obsessed with how dark the series apparently is. (hell, the word overrated is overrated)

I like Fruits Basket but at first I didn't realize it had any popularity. Then, in an FYE filled with a decent amount of shonen anime posters on the wall, I saw a Fruits Basket poster. Let me repeat, a FRUITS BASKET poster in an FYE. 0__o

You gotta hate anime not because it's too overrated, but because the plot sucks.
I know a lot who hates DC, but they're newbs; they don't think, that's why

For anime:
I hate Inuyasha for the f*****' s*** ending
I hate Eyeshield 21 for cutting it short
I hate Flame of Recca for omitting most of the fight scenes (I really wanted to see Kogan Anki's 6th form)
I hate fillers, most of 'em
They get "thumbs down" for screwin' with the manga

But I can't say they're my least fave. If I don't like an anime, I forget what its name is.
