Depends on what you intend to do with him.  The only other ones that even come close are Electivire and Zapdos.  Jolteon has his own niche that separates him from those two.

Nothing wrong with screaming like a girl when you get a shiny. Or trying to kill yourself if you meet one in the wild and kill it by accident.

I ran from a shiny Wingull once. I was not happy when I realized a second too late that it had green stripes on it's wings and not blue.

I killed a shiny Jigglypuff once. I was SO MAD at myself. My school librarian started staring at me for yelling angrily at my DS in the middle of the library XD

Shiny Charizard FTW!

On another Pokemon-related note, I'm thoroughly addicted to the "Pokemon Adventures" manga. Been reading it online and I just got to the beginning of the FR/LG arc. Plus points: I now feel fully justified in fangirling on Green, who's about 17 this arc and doing very nicely indeed. Negative points: Oh, Blue. Oh my god. She just saw her parents for the first time in twelve years and... oh lord. I'm actually going to cry now. The end of the Ruby/Sapphire arc had me crying enough with Norman... and Steven... and Mimi... *sobs*

Well, I run into a green Zubat in the Dark Cave playing Silver. Less valuable shiny pokémon? Probably, after so much "Wild ZUBAT appeared!", it is a matter of time till encoutering one.
I also caught a shiny poochyena :)

Lucky you :) With the amount of goddamn Zubat i've run into over the past twelve years, you'd think at least one would be shiny....

Two words: hubba hubba.

I haven't gotten to the Emerald arc yet, but i've heard Emerald has really crazy-ass hair.

Shinies?  I've got a Roselia on Diamond and a Hypno on Silver.  That's all that I can remember off the top of my head.

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.
