Re: So like....yeah....Fall 2012
I've tried a few episodes of most of the new shows this season, and I'm feeling profoundly meh about all of it. :/ I've been finding it hard to stay with the current anime scene for the past couple of seasons; it seems like even the shows with interesting concepts are all executed the same cookie-cutter way with the same cookie-cutter animation and voice acting.
And from looking at the winter lineup, I'm not excited about anything except the 2nd season of Chihayafuru.
Maybe I just haven't seen the right stuff? D:

the winter lineup isn't even close to being full yet, so far it's mostly sequels that have been confirmed, give it time for things to be announced and whatnot
also if you watch anything this season make sure it's Psycho Pass, Code Breaker, and most importantly Shin Sekai Yori

Shin Sekai Yori has cookie-cuter character designs(but it's good). Psycho-Pass and Jojo: The Bizarre Animation are the good ones you should check out.
Code:Breaker is shounen shit that will bore you to death - probably.

Re: So like....yeah....Fall 2012
I'll just go ahead and comment on everything I have seen thus far.
Code:Breaker would have been good if it took the concept seriously. Instead it tries to splice itself with some strange form of comedy that isn't even remotely funny or amusing in any way. Hell the only funny scenes are the serious scenes.
Psycho Pass may be good if they focus less on the rookie female character. She was supposed to be a top student, but she didn't know shit about anything. It was a little distracting. How can you live in this world and not know this stuff?
Magi different from the manga, but I feel like a lot of what was changed wasn't enough to bother me. Perhaps this is all due to me watching the anime before reading the manga.
Btooom! might end up being good. I sort of like that the main character is a little detestable.
Zetsuen no Tempest Is a bit theatrical with it's script. The characters don't act very natural about anything, but perhaps it's one of the things that is keeping my interest.
Shin Sekai Yori is filled with such rebellious children. I'm kind of looking forward to everything just biting them in the ass.
K Well it at least pretty to look at. I really hate the main character with a passion for some reason... It makes it hard to enjoy this series... Well that complied with the incoherent plot.
Kamisama Hajimemashita... The humor in this anime doesn't really do anything for me.
Ixion Saga DT is a parody anime so I don't expect the plot to be anything special. I think the appeal of this show is it's cast. That's a hell of a lot of well known guys. o_O;
Little Busters The way that the characters act reminds me somewhat of Hiiro no Kakera. Overall nothing about the first episode stood out to me. I'm going to probably stick with it anyway.
Robotics;Notes Better than Little Busters. I don't like the robot designs however. They seem so very oldschool in comparison to the age of the characters themselves.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure I still don't quite know what to expect from this show. Unlike with Magi I feel like I'd much rather watch it animated instead of checking out the manga.

Re: So like....yeah....Fall 2012
Code: Breaker and Psycho-Pass I tried already and didn't care for, but I hadn't tried Shin Sekai Yori yet. Thanks for the recommendation, because I'm really liking it so far.
I guess I have to eat my words about never liking anything Parkur recommends now. :V

Felt a bit sorry for the subbers in the latest Shin Sekai Yori episode. That first part of the episode probably took some time.
I had to raise my eyebrow about Azerbaijan, though, cause that seemed extremely random.

Only shows that I'm actually enjoying this season are Little Busters and Shin Sekai Yori. K seems to keep fluttering between yaoi and catgirls, and it's dragging quite a bit, so not really sure what to make of it. Tempest is just kind of... there. Same for Psycho Pass, which seems to be trying some weird sci-fi shoujo angle. Haven't started Robotics;Note yet.

Hmm, I guess Jojo really isn't for you guys, since I'm getting almost completely ignored here.
Oh well, doesn't really matter, hope it sells well on Japan(which already is, selling better than every anime on this season besides LB! and To Love Ru).

Just realized Psycho Pass is being written by Gen Urobuchi. Shit's gonna get dark pretty quick, then.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if she went totally Guy Fawkes on that place.

She's gonna be mind-screwed throughout the whole series.
Her Psycho-Pass is clean right now, but I can see her as an Enforcer by the end of the anime.

All of this stuff seems to really be bothering her. I find it weird as hell that her pass color is still blue. I wonder if she is some sort of anomaly.

3. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
4. Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
5. Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb
