Caster uses Rule-Breaker on Saber and Archer, severing their contracts and causing Shirou and Rin to both lose their command spells and no longer be masters. Then when Archer's about to kill Shirou, Rin makes a new contract with Saber and becomes a master again.

UBW is Fate/Stay Night.  It's merely the second route.  If I recall, it happens in Heaven's Feel too, just not as obvious.

Well, you should, since it's one of the routes.  Most would even argue that it's more important to the plot and character development than the Fate route is, with Heaven's Feel moreso than both of them.

Ehhh sorry but I don´t know what you mean with "routes" xD I don´t know much of the whole Fate universe. What I agree is that I prefer much more UBW than FSN.

The Fate/Stay Night anime is an adaptation of the FSN Visual Novel, which has three "routes" (Fate, UBW, Heaven's Feel), aka ways through the plot. The FSN anime tried to grab the aspects from all three routes and touched on some of it but missed a fair amount of stuff (from the anime synopsis I read on wikipedia :V). Fate/Zero references information from all three routes, so it recognizes them all as canon (in backstory at least, obviously all the events from each route can't happen simultaneously).

If you don't consider any routes except the first (UBW and Heaven's Feel) as "Fate/Stay Night", then the entire Matou arc of Fate/Zero should make no sense to you.

Ohh, now I understand. I only knew FSN and UBW and didn´t know anything about FSN Visual Novel and the "routes".

I thought UBW was just a movie re-telling FSN changing some things like the TTGL movies or the Evangelion ones.

yep, doesn't start back up till Spring season (April).
