Wait... are you talking about Weevil Underwood? SERIOUSLY?
Well, I was bored back, so I thought, "Hmm...that guy looks a little bit like Conan." Guess his red bowtie in the earlier part of Yu-Gi-Oh kinda convinced me.
"Every man’s heart, one day, beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them bleed deeper and something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized."

He's a short guy in glasses and a red bow tie, but I never really though he resembled Conan. He doesn't dress as nattily, his glasses are MUCH gaudier, and his hair's just wrong >_< Also, he's an asshole.

like i said, exodia cards. Oh well it, it wouldn't have been fair to the rest of the players and would of made the series a lot shorter if he did have the cards.
With his "heart of the cards" basically drawing whatever he wants, he'd get like exodia in the first hand.

Anyway, once again I found a DC reference in a random YGO doujin. I can't read Japanese so I don't know precisely what was going on, but Jonouchi was having a very prolonged cosplay daydream about Yugi... and for some reason, this was about the only male character he was cosplaying as :?

Spoiler:
Oh my... I don't know whether I should laugh or cry at this...

A large part of it, of course, is that when the card game first appeared in the manga, it was only intended to have a oneshot appearance, like every other game in the manga; however, fan love of Kaiba demanded that both return, and that the game become the focus of the manga. The rules were being made up throughout Duelist Kingdom.
I don't think this counts as a reference, but I just found out a cute fact. Mitsuhiko, in the Japanese anime, is voiced by Ikue Ohtani, better known as Pikachu
