Yeah. And plots like that aren't supposed to drag on that long. Personal opinion only, though.
No amount of apologies will express how much I regret it.

Only ones coming to mind right off are Neon Genesis Evangeleon, Kanon, that stupid Oruchuban Ebichu show, and I'm not a big fan of the Gundam series, although, granted, I did like Gundam Wing and G Gundam.

I would say Dragon Ball GT, but I can't because I liked how the series started.  I just hated the fact it went the route of DBZ as opposed to Dragon Ball, like it was doing in the very beginning.  The premise of GT was okay, just badly executed, imo, even if Toriyama didn't have anything to do with it.

I would also say Bleach, but, I liked the series in the beginning, just as it went on, I grew bored of it.

Edit: Just thought of some more series...

Pretear: I despise the anime with a passion because of one main thing...
Spoiler:
Sasame becoming a traitor
.  I love the manga, though.  I just disliked the anime changes.

Fushigi Yuugi: I felt it was a terrible series. The storyline was nice, though.  This is probably one of those series that's better read in manga format as opposed to watched in anime-format.

Marmalade Boy: I loved it in the beginning, grew annoyed with it as it went on.  This is another series where I preferred its manga to its anime.

Yeah, I can't stand Evangelion either. My brother made me watch the first 2 episodes with him once. In return, I made him watch the first 4 episodes of Fuushigi Yuugi (Yeah, that one's not very good either, in manga or anime, but....at the time I was into it. See my user name.) This was...oh, probably around 6-7 years ago when I was in my second year of college...
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

I think I might have said this somewhere before, but watch the dub.

No seriously, it's so bad that it's good.

Like in one episode I saw, this guy was apparently some protector of Peru ruins or something and has a long explanation of how this demon (or something) has lived underground for centuries and is gaining power for the jealously and hatred of people and all Jack Atlas (or whatever his name is) has to say are AMAZING lines such as "that's bad."

I noticed that people either like DC or Naruto, since I have a lot of friends who like Naruto
and refuse to lay a finger on DC and most people on NF never even heard of DC.
Interesting... it seems like there is something about one of these series that really doesn´t appeal
to readers of the other.

I think a lot of DC fans are not huge shonen fans and many Naruto fans basically only like shonen (I mean, DC kinda is shonen but considering how it's a detective anime...)

But that's just a guess. I personally like both although DC is obviously better.

Of course, it could also be that a lot of Naruto fans are stupid (this is kinda true) and DC fans are just angry that Naruto is popular and DC isn't (or maybe they hate it just because of the fandom). But I'll try to be optimistic and not believe that.

Well, I´m not angry that Naruto is somehow more popular than Naruto, it just baffles me, to be honest.
Then there is this difference between DC´s popularity in Japan, Europe and the States...
Both Naruto and DC are succesful in Japan and Europe (it seemed to me), but Naruto is really the most popular manga/anime in the States and this is why I was quite surprised that I only got answers like "Oh, you mean Case Closed, or something...?
Yeah, I remember it being aired some time ago... it wasn´t that interesting" when I asked if someone likes DC.
I know it´s not about "deserving popularity" or anything, but DC is running since practically forever and although there are
often less important parts before we get to see something exciting again, it has still a large amount of readers and fans.
There has to be be something good about a manga who is able to manage this, right...?XD
Naruto Shippuden has been dragging a lot lately and there just isn´t something to be excited about anymore... for me, the following happings are too predictable.

Even though I haven't watched its anime in a good while, I like Naruto okay.  I grew bored of the anime though, and started up with its manga, which actually had never piqued my interest before.  As of now, I'm reading the current chapters and tempted to start physically collecting it.  Well, with Naruto Shippuden anyway.  The current manga chapter...that thing with a certain character also having Sharingan just threw me.  Dying to know what the deal with that is.

Of course, manga wise for DC, I've pretty  much skipped around with that, but anime wise, since I came across that first since scanlations back then were rare, I liked from the first time I saw it.

So...as I was saying, here's a person who likes both DC and Naruto.

it's pretty simple

Case Closed wasn't an amazing dub nor was it given much of a chance to succeed thanks to a combination of being different from stuff on Adult Swim (different audience than who would like the show I suppose) and only being aired very late (if I remember correctly). Naruto was on Toonami during it's last few years, was on at a good time and was advertised as THE anime to watch.
