As I watch more anime, anime becomes ruined for me

Rather than watching a lot of anime and getting bored with it, i find it more irritating for having a lot of anime and never got the chance to watch them all...

Gosh, how i miss the time where i was still a college student...

it's depend... but yes.... working will take your time and you'll need to make priority some things....

I was watching the remastered GSD just a while ago and I had a hard time trying not to laugh since Chairman Durandal was voiced by Akai's VA and Captain Gladys was voiced by Vermouth's and they had a relationship and I just found it funny whenever the Chairman gives orders and the Captain obeys willingly.

Also, Ms. Hayashibara also voiced Opacho in Shaman King which is mindblowingly awesome.

So, I started watching Higurashi

main character's mom is voiced by Sonoko and I can't get it out of my head
the police investigator is voiced by Megure and I can't get it out of my head

I can't stop picturing the characters fro mother shows and it ruins everything.

Not the first time for me. After watching a lot of DC, in the English dub, of course, because my preferences are manga > FUNimation's dub (even though they made many mistakes and created their own plot hole) > Japanese dub (not as many problems as FUNimation's version, but has one major plot hole and even had to kind of redo a case just so Haibara could be introduced), I tried to watch Railgun dubbed and I kept thinking of Conan every time Kuroko talked. Then again, pretty much every character her actress does sounds the same.

All I can say is that voice acting is their job and the people behind the show probably thought they were the best fit for the gig.

Megure voicing Ooishi used to be a problem for me, but now I just imagine that Ooishi is an alternate-universe Megure and it's actually enriched my viewing experience.

Conan as Envy messed me up though.

Honestly at points I have the opposite issue. If a voice is unrecognizable and not distinct sounding enough, it honestly can take away from a series it seems. This is especially true for certain anime where I prefer the dub because the original has this issue.

The only voice I recognise everywhere is Conan's... Most of the time my brain just goes bleh and ignores how similar most voices are, so I don't really have this problem.
