I would recommend Hungry Heart: Wild Striker to everyone. It's an excellent series, very underappreciated.

The ending kind of sucked, but that's only one episode. The rest is pure perfection.

And no, it's not shoujo, or the opposite.

You watched Bleach so I think you would like One Piece too... Definitely better in terms of story, plot, characters and character development... If you want something relatively shorter and complete, you might want to watch FMA Brotherhood... Not sure if you've watched Brotherhood though...

For Psychological Thriller, Kino's Journey is a mindfucker but the animation is kinda outdated...

For Slice of Life, I recommend Bartender... Episodic in nature...

You watched Bleach so I think you would like One Piece too... Definitely better in terms of story, plot, characters and character development... If you want something relatively shorter and complete, you might want to watch FMA Brotherhood... Not sure if you've watched Brotherhood though...

For Psychological Thriller, Kino's Journey is a mindfucker but the animation is kinda outdated...

For Slice of Life, I recommend Bartender... Episodic in nature...

I recommend Fullmetal as well. It's an awesome series.

Saying that I felt very similar after watching this movie like when I finished Welcome to the NHK! might help. (although Haruhi is pretty different)

I always hear good things about One Piece, but I'm not in a mood to start something so long.  FMA Brotherhood...I've watched half of the original FMA and just got bored of it, I don't know why, its just not for me.  Winry and his brother pissed me off big time.  I'll look into Kino's Journey, I always like a good mindhype
