There are a lot of types that are immune to sand, so it's not too hard to make a balanced team that is 100% immune.  Hail, on the other hand...

I tried making a team based on Sand Stream, but I wasn't happy with it. I think it was Metagross,Armaldo,Cradily and Tyranitar. Using Rain Dance or another climate change attack also works.

Based on what?  I don't recall seeing anything related to the new villains at all from the little bit of information revealed.

I didn't know there was any info out on the new bad guys at all.

Personally, I'm kind of hoping that they're good old-fashioned assholes like Team Rocket rather than Greenpeace With Guns like Teams Magma and Aqua.

i doubt that would make much of a difference, you get it down to like...2 HP, put it to sleep, throw an ultra ball (keep in mind that this miltank is at level 13) and it still breaks out
