ends up a lot better than it starts off, imo, wasn't that huge of a fan at some points in the first half of the season.

Yeah, Durarara is good. But if you're into shoujo, you will like KnT.

It's right under my post so I don't know if it's an answer to my request for good josei or just your general recommendation to all, but thanks. (^^;) It's already been on my to-watch list for some time now but my boyfriend is taking too long to get me a decent ready copy (for collection purposes) from his friend.
Not that Welcome to the NHK is josei, but it's out of a high school setting so it's very much welcome to me.

As for this, I think I found my answer: Kuragehime. I'm so excited. "Torrenting" the first episode now. I might drop Star Driver in favor of it because I've been so incredibly bored by the first 3 episodes but I'm stickin' it out until the 5th one, hoping for changes.

But more recommendations are welcome. Thanks a bunch!
I love the DCTP crowd although I'm not a frequent poster. I've been convinced here to watch Reborn and One Piece thru indirect recommendations (i.e. random talk), Monster thru helpful linking, and Gintama thru that video parody of DC someone posted about. Absolutely NO regrets.
