That (supposedly talkative cat) Shamisen was only heard once during the episode 00 right?
Oh and If I remember correctly, there would only be a few more new costumes, so don't get your hopes high. And in case you've already watched all the episodes of the previous season, there would be none at all (besides that frog costume which I don't remember her wearing that)

Yeah, he only says the one line before Nagato bops him on the head to shut him up. As for the Frog Costume, Haruhi makes Mikuru wear it in "Someday in the Rain", when she's trying to get a bunch of pictures for the DVD extras.

From my understanding, that's manga only. It occurred before Bamboo Leaf Rapsody, so the anime already passed over it's chance to animate it (since this "season" is filling in all the gaps missed the first time), and it was never in the novels.
Unless, of course, you're talking about some other date that I'm unaware of.

I know my cousin who is an art major can draw better then that, the art in the manga is so bad I can not see why anyone buys it. it is the worst art I have ever seen in a manga.

Oh please. It's not as good as season 1's art, but it's by no means bad. It's actually quite good, just different than how the anime looks. If it's the worst art you've ever seen in a manga, then you must've only read like 3 manga.

No not really. I never compared the art to Haruhi anime. I compared it to some terrible fanmanga (doujins right?) of a series I've never seen. They were the same poor quality.
Meh, only Kyon looks horrible in it. Koizumi looks bad at first but gets somewhat better later on. The girls all look fine though, and they're the ones that matter.

ok so you admit that half the charcters look really bad, and the other half are just ok looking, I rest my case. FYI I never compare anime and manga art styles.
bad art or OK art, i don't read the manga since the story is not from Tanigawa Nagaru(Manga originals) and the art is not from Ito Noiji (if you don't know them then here's a link http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index ... awa_Nagaru)
the anime art only comes in second (unless it is also done by Ito Noiji) since it's really great. But still the designs originally came from her so... you should get what I mean
I haven't even seen the manga itself so I can't really criticize that much but I still prefer words and my imagination over black and white (OK) art. And (most unlikely) having hard times trying to figure out what they are doing in a certain panel just like most (fighting) manga.(e.g. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles' recent chapters... too many explosionswind magic effects)
