That's why (well, one of the reasons) the fact that people like it yet hate Endless Eight is funny to me. *is only being half serious*

Edit: Endless Eight Eight is awesome because of Asahina. It's something that's used in countless shows and is never funny yet this time I was like "wait what XD?"

The ending was what I hoped it would be. (the music! XD)
I felt like watching that episode 8 times...

still... I already have this feeling of accomplishment... weird

Seriously, I can't say it enough. The music was PERFECT for the entire last 5 minutes of it. XD

Shame Endless Eight 6 sucked. Otherwise this would have been my favorite anime arc ever. (Now it's behind the better Conan arcs and Water 7)

Also, a question to someone who has read the light novels. Is there anything in the novel that was only used for the later Endless Eights? (some minor lines or unimportant scenes) Because I would assume that they would try to use EVERY single line from the Endless Eight chapter at some point (unlike the other parts of this anime, where I'm sure they forgot something (as minor as it may be)).

You see...after this, I would like to see them to make an anime (or use this anime) to show 2 episodes in an endless eight sort of way (although this time, just because, instead of taking advantage of the story) where they are both the same main plot, but each have minor differences between them. In fact, let's hope that's how they troll everyone for season 3.  :)

I also hope the rest of this season is just Sigh and 1 or 2 filler eps. Because
1. I want as much stuff covered from the novels to be in the anime (minor stuff included) and
2. I don't want them to rush this series since there are only 9 light novels out anyway

I have too many awesome ideas

My favorite are the ironic ones. ("Summer's almost over, huh?")

And also what Haruhi says at the end.

They actually left at least one line out.

When Kyon has to race Koizumi to the pool, and he has both Haruhi and Yuki on his bike, he wonders if Yuki can negate the gravity around her so that he has less weight to carry.

I think Koizumi has a line at some point that isn't said too, but I don't remember.

Melancholy (Volume 1) is out now, in bother paperback and hardcover.

Until the end of the weekend, if you have a Reward Zone card, you can get 40% off via coupon:
http://www.bordersmedia.com/coup/coupon400806.asp

Whether they have it in stock or not is up to the store, just make sure you're getting the novel and not the manga.  Or vice versa if that's what you want.

Volume 2, Sigh, comes out at the end of October.

This is lol at the end: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANOHwDhV ... annel_page

Anyways just watched this in one sitting.  Not the best idea I had...now my brain really hurts...

Are there any fan groups translating the Haruhi novels online?
Hey, I have an idea, let's have a THIS SUCKS / NO THIS SUCKS / NO YOU / NO YOU argument for a couple pages, that will really be great. - Ingmar

I'm trying to find the lol at the end.

Is it the cliched "WORLD EXPLODES" joke or the butthurt fan whining in the description for the video?

I expect an "OH BURN" by 8:00 AM EST. Understood?

its more of the fact that everyone treats everyday as you piss off haruhi she rewrites or blows up the universe (seen a doujin where this happens.... not going to say anymore)... they also play with this in Haruhi-chan where a severe trauma experance threatens to end the world instead she erased the memory and continues on normal (said trauma is Kyon acting gay toward Koizumi) would link the Youtube vid but they seem to have deleted all the haruhi-chan vids that I had bookmarked

the blowing up is from DBZ and Namek.

you would have become my favorite person here if this was the censorship part instead since my friend created a lesser known meme with "censorkips"

but oh well

I think Koizumi has a line at some point that isn't said too, but I don't remember.
And how Haruhi was making it harder for him to ride his bike

Another would be that Kyon also asks Nagato how many times they've noticed the iteration

Another would be the whole scene where they where doing their homework. I remember Haruhi Saying that he should at least edit the solutions to the math problems since their math teacher (which the name was stated by Haruhi and I forgot) always checks thoroughly

Another would be when Kyon also invites Asahina but remembers she is a senior but still invites her just since he wants to

There's more, but I didn't read the whole Endless Eight Chapter... I just skimmed the last half of it

:P

That line will definitely get revived just between Christmas and New Year (their time-line)
And don't worry, this won't be much of a spoiler, and it's after the Disappearance arc

EDIT EDIT:

Some might consider this a spoiler(not much though) but it's something to look forward to (especially if your a Tsuruya/Haruhi fan)
Spoiler:
HARUHI X TSURUYA DOUBLE MEITANTEI!!! <--- can't wait to see this part animated

oh haruhi, haruhi you really make something small into a universal issue. you could at least have made it be something like summer love, you know plot progression.

In an interview, Tanigawa(writer) said something like "Boy meets girl. Leaves each other. And they encounter again sometime after graduating." (lol... this reminds me of Bokura Ga Ita)

It was his definition of a Mediocre school life story... which was boring...

If things were to progress that way, and that early... It would definitely become less interesting.
Spoiler:
Or end
:P

I, for one, believe that it could not have ended any better
Spoiler:
Especially with all the rampaging Otaku's and Hitler... who is now closer to see Nagato's blush  :P
