I find it hard to believe that it's actually one of their lesser animation teams as it looks better than almost any other anime series (but admittedly the ads had to have helped a lot).

Mecha anime isn't really my thing (I did kinda like isekai though) so I'm hesitant to try this

it isn't mecha. It's just a really awesome superhero series.

yeah, there's only mechs in this for maybe 2 episodes? And they're just generic enemy henchmen basically.

Also, $5 says that kaede uses a power that isn't ice and everybody realizes that she doesn't just copy the last person she touched and she just ends up nullifying whatever fight Kotetsu and Barnaby get into. Though, Kotetsu should have already realized that wasn't the case when her first power was levitation anyway and not his.

I think he's talking about the main character's suit (as everyone assumed it was mecha from early images of the anime from what I've heard).

honestly it's like a reverse Sym-bionic Titan. Which was basically a western cartoon inspired by anime (and was mecha actually!) and this is kinda like anime making a western superhero cartoon. If that makes any sense.

I think the orange glow was enough proof that Kotetsu wasn't dead. Remember that there was an orange glow in that episode where his power seemed to advance to another level.

I hadn't really noticed any orange glow, unless you mean like when the light was shining on his body and they were clearly trying to make you think he was dead

and I'm guessing more likely than not he's not dead (as lots of things that were brought up in the series were re-used [like the android episode making it pretty obvious who fake tiger was], and Tiger's random mention of "yeah I can use my powers to heal myself" haven't come to have any actual real significance yet), but it's not like Sunrise hasn't done it before

Sunrise may be known for killing off characters, but I can't see them doing it here. If they do it would be kind of upsetting since he's the best character on the show.
