I think in this case I'd be happier without the incest. They just don't make a good couple.

The only reason why I stopped watching it after episode 2 was because I feared that at a certain point it will have incest. Since it apparently doesn't, I'll probably go back to watch it.

It's probably due to how badly she treats him.  That seems to be the main problem people have with Kirino's character.  She treats him like crap and doesn't seem to care about it.

I've got a feeling the tv show will end with a "huh? that's it?" type of ending.  Since they've already announced 4 dvd/blu-ray only episodes with an alternate ending(branches off from ep. 11) coming out during the summer next year.

I LOVED episodes 1-10 of the show and thought they where very funny and had a lot of commentary on the industry in them. but I thought episode 11 was HORRENDOUS and exactly what I thought the series would be when I first review the show for club, to see if we could watch it, and thought it would be horrible. if it ever does go incest so help me lord.

there's a part in episode 12 that seems to hint towards the kuroneko x kyousuke (takin this from the subs I'm watching):
Kuroneko: It's incredible that Nii-san has enough patience to put up with your insolence
Kirino: Shut up. And can you stop calling him that?
Kuroneko: Nii-san?
Kirino: Frankly, it's gross, and he goes all dere when you say it. It's just gross.
Kuroneko: I don't see that happening. Well, no matter. I'll be calling him something different soon enough.

Yeah, this ending branches off differently from the novels.  Makes me wonder if the alternate ending will be what is happening in the novels right now.

Also another thing that's different was

that Kirino didn't go overseas unlike the novels.  IIRC, she hasn't found out Kyousuke & Kuroneko are dating.

I'm guessing the name Kuroneko will be calling Kyousuke is probably

sempai.  Since she'll be attending his high school the following year.  Which leads to them dating.

This ending was basically just a "maintaining the status quo" ending, where nothing really changed.

I understand that Kyousuke needs a replacement for Kirino but I think Ayase would be the better choice.
