it's an anime original ending so that might be why

I'm only at volume 2 of the manga. It's pretty great (and hilarious) although the story seems kinda weak so far for some reason.

Even compared to volume 2 of other shonen.

The manga's far better.

Yep, very much so, that I can't even remember what happened.

That's a real downer.

Ahh, the memories of Soul Eater. I don't know if it was a filler episode `cause I'm too lazy to also follow the manga. But, the 14th ep (exam! exam!) was the funniest for me. Everyone and everything in it just cracked me up so much that I don't regret watching this fair (or poor? you decide, I have no idea) anime adaptation.
Xcommando wrote: I just watched episode 17, and that excalibur flash back were he was with Sherlock Holmes and arrested Watson was funny as hell.
Am I the only one who can't stand Excalibur? I cringe whenever he appears so I do fast-forward play. Didn't get to watch this though.

I don't watch Excalibur episodes coz the first one left an impression: BOREDOM. So, yeah, I missed that ep too.

The exam ep is totally hilarious IMO.

I agree! The 14th is my fave episode 'coz I love fillers. (Wait, was it a filler?)

The 1st Excalibur episode is the only ep of him that I like.

Yen Press is releasing them in the U.S. But, if you want to read the latest chapters, go to www.mangareader.net and go to the manga list and go to the 's' page. I already checked it out, and Soul Eater is there. (I recently ran into the same problem with Pandora Hearts and found this website that had it... it seems like Yen Press is going on a a rampage right now.)
Why? You never win the cursed war.

I saw a bunch of the episodes, and they were interesting.
But I stopped at the episode where that one girl was fighting her brother.

... It's pretty early on.
Spoiler:
Tsubaki Nakatsukasa (Black Star's weapon partner) fought her breather and gained the ability to turn into a katana or something at the end. She fought her brother inside the sword. :P
