I highly suggest all Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli films. Each movie has its own feel to it, and atleast one of them will have the genre you're looking for.

How about otaku-streamers.com? It's a decent streaming site that has DC although it's only up to episode 315 or so I remember.

Death Note is finished way back in 2006!! Are you thinking about watching/reading it? If you are, go for it because it is an AMAZING series!! I like Death Note as much as I like DC, maybe a little bit more. Besides, the seiyu for L is Kappei Yamaguchi, while for Light, it's Miyano Mamoru.  :)
