Other Favorites refer to anime aside from DC that I'd probably never get tired of watching repeatedly, right?

Baccano
Ouran High School Host Club
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Speed Grapher
Moyashimon

A few others that didn't quite make it:

Nana
- so great that it left a big impression on me when I "marathoned" it in one day even with eye-squinting subs; don't feel the need to watch it more than once
Kaiji - perfect; it's just that I can't watch it again anytime soon `cause I also felt like I lost a lot of money in the end  :D
Honey and Clover - I found the lead guy on bike rather melodramatic at first but thank God that's NOT the tone of the story. SHI-NO-BU FTW!!!!!   ;D One of the few series with great second seasons (as if the first wasn't good enough).
Samurai Champloo - stylish; loved it that the characters parted in the end; hated the opening theme

Edit: One Piece is my new #2 favorite anime. Rivals DC in my eyes.

Edit: MORE BOREDOM

1. Detective Conan
2. Haruhi
3. One Piece
4. Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo
5. Naruto
6. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
7. Slayers
8. Lucky Star
9. Dragonball
10. School Rumble

omg the odd numbered ones are shonen and the even numbered ones are comedy (except 2 I guess)

Ed: She's just my automail mechanic!
Hughes: Ah, so you've seduced your mechanic? Not bad, midget.

I'm not sure if this is in order but if you're putting Monster between DC and Baccano, then I ought to watch that series! It's actually already in my 'to watch list' but I'll be damned if I have to stream 70+ episodes online. I'd rather spend energy downloading them all since I'm the type who rewatches anime. There's just so much stuff that you miss when you speak minimal Japanese and have to focus on the subs. Now, if only someone would kindly provide a direct download link  ;D (preferably in avi format so that I won't have to convert though anything will be fine, really). Thanks  ;)

having just watched Monster in 2 days a few days ago, I can say it's a very good show (although, I dislike the very very very end of it, it makes me angry). Anyway, I deleted all the files from my computer, so I can't toss em over to you, but I'm sure you can find downloads somewhere. The subs I saw were from Anime Keep, so you might wanna search around for that?

edit: actually, you're in luck! yay!

I decided to go look at getfansub, and found the following thread that has live links for the whole series:
http://forums.getfansub.com/forums/view ... hp?t=870.0
the subs are by a group called soldats though, so I don't know how good they are.

Oh gawd.  The end of Monster was just....

>:(

Just wondering did you read/watch any of his other works?  20th century boy, pluto, etc...

Speaking of bad endings the ending episodes of Akagi made me want to strangle something.  But then the ending to Kaiji anime was just epic.
Hey, I have an idea, let's have a THIS SUCKS / NO THIS SUCKS / NO YOU / NO YOU argument for a couple pages, that will really be great. - Ingmar

Damn right. And to think I even did many A-B repeats while watching my DVD copy of Akagi in order to remember their mahjong terminology (`cause it's different in my country). What's up with that sort of ending? >:(

nah. Although I've seen the name '20th century boy' pop up in a lot of recommendations people throw out, but I'm really not that much of a manga type of guy.

Naruto
Bleach
One Piece
Two cops walked into a room with no windows and found a dead man who obviously hung himself from the ceiling, though they couldn't figure out how. There was no chair beneath him that he might have jumped off of, or a table. Just a puddle of water. How'd he do it?

If you can figure this out in less then 5 minutes you know you've learned alot from your detective shows.

If you figure out my sig messege me D=
