Re: Anime That Brought Tears
Uhm... No tears for any really but the ones that made me cry on the inside were the last episode of Code Geass R2, when he revealed his plan and proved how noble he was, and when Akai Shuichi got shot, possible killed not sure about that one (no manga spoilers please). Also when Jodie started crying about Akai getting shot. Kudos to the voice actor
Sorry if you are not counting DC, wasnt sure.

I'd agree with this but the pointlessly long flashback killed that moment.Yizun wrote: Also when Jodie started crying about Akai getting shot. Kudos to the voice actor

I meant before that, heh. About 10 seconds into the flashback the moment died after being beaten to death with a very blunt stickkkslider5552000 wrote:I'd agree with this but the pointlessly long flashback killed that moment.Yizun wrote: Also when Jodie started crying about Akai getting shot. For me its When the Tachikomas sacrificed their AI satellite to save everyone from the nuke in GITS 2nd GiG. You feel so happy that the Tachikomas finally achieve the sense of having their own ghosts yet you feel so sad to see them go.

Re: Anime That Brought Tears
I almost cried while watching the ff scenes;
As an adult
(1) Going Merry getting burned down (One Piece)
(2) Final conversation of L & N (Death Note Live 3 - Change the world)
As a kid
(1) dramatic scenes on cartoons for children like Cedie, Remi , Romeo & the likes
(2) dramatic scenes on Voltes V

Re: Anime That Brought Tears
After rewatching Romeo x Juliet and Ginban Kaleidoscope (Anime(s) that made me cry the most), I discovered that Romeo x Juliet is the one that is sadder. Although i was playing Sims at the last episode, my tears really flowed so much. Unlike with Ginban Kaleidoscope, I didn't cry again.
I guess I cried at Ginban Kaleidoscope the most (1st time watching) because it was the first anime I watched with a sad ending.

Re: Anime That Brought Tears
I always shed tears when I watch Honey and Clover. Tears of laughter, I mean.
*ahem* I almost cried at the end of Cardcaptor Sakura, when Shaoran went away. Took me weeks before I could cough up the courage to watch the last movie [which thankfully had a happy ending.]
I became really sad watching FMA Brotherhood, when Hughes died and during the recent Hohenheim episode when they showed a flashback of Ed losing Al, though he got him back later. And I haven't even watched the first season.
Also, during a Pokemon episode when Ash was about to leave Pikachu. But then again, I was about 7 at that time.
Other than that, I've never become depressed after watching anime though I am sentimentally attached to all my favourite series...but then again, I haven't watched too much.

Al: So what's your strategy, Brother?
Ed: I told you, a fist in his face!
Hughes: Yo, Ed! Getting it on with a girl in your hospital room?
Ed: She's just my automail mechanic!
Hughes: Ah, so you've seduced your mechanic? Not bad, midget.

Re: Anime That Brought Tears
I thought the ending of Ojamajo Doremi was a tear-jerker, but Ojamajo Doremi #'s ending was even more so. Not enough to send tears down my cheeks, but it was close. And I'm told that subsequent season endings get sadder and sadder.

Re: Anime That Brought Tears
I almost cried at the last episode of Baccano!, just because I didn't want it to end.
I think I cried at the end of Higurashi, though I'm not sure...
I literally cried buckets for the entire last 2 episodes of Romeo X Juliet plus the scene where Lancelot dies. I've now seen the series 5 times and I still cry at the end.
All of these are things I've seen fairly recently... Weird...
