Re: Sword Art Online
I knew the VA from the beginning. o_O; Perhaps being blind makes me better at recognizing voices? IDK...

Not just you. I instantly recognized his voice right from the beginning too.

I see, lol. For a moment there... I thought I was going crazy thinking that watching subbed anime and reading forums posts was a visual thing. LOL Boy, glad to know I'm not crazy *Wipes brow*leokiko wrote: Soreiyu sees through her ears.

Re: Sword Art Online
No, it's some sort of myth that blind people have better hearing.

Myth? I thought it was a fact when you lose one of your senses, the others kick up their game to compensate for the loss? Though I'm not positive on the whole thing lolSoreiyu wrote: No, it's some sort of myth or something that blind people have more perceptive hearing.

lol You got me before I changed my wording.Loudlol wrote:

Unfortunately that is not the case. Your hearing/other senses do not become better just your ability to use them. You basically pay more attention to things.

Re: Sword Art Online
so uhh
I... guess that's where the "chapter 16.5" happens? Seems a bit early though if the LN didn't start with the side-stories, since we're pretty early on with the normal plot.
and what's with the "one hit dueling" or whatever? Because Kirito totally hit Heathcliff, Kirito was just the first one to yellow.
also, I'm sorta glad that dismemberment isn't a permanent thing in SAO because if it was that woulda been hilarious if they showed off Dual Wielding one ep, and cut off his hand the next

I hope the story isn't going to turn into "a boy and a girl living in a village inside an MMO"

I imagine if it does, it'll only do so for half an episode or so until they're roused from their quiet life to ~save the world~Kor wrote: I hope the story isn't going to turn into "a boy and a girl living in a village inside an MMO"
nobody enters retirement in the middle of the series and gets away with it.

Has to be a certain kind of hit. Whatever the system determines to be a "significant" hit or something. They were just grazing each other, so they didn't count. The second condition is hitting 50% hp.Akonyl wrote: and what's with the "one hit dueling" or whatever? Because Kirito totally hit Heathcliff, Kirito was just the first one to yellow.
That being said, Heathcliff is a dirty rotten cheater. Using the Incarnate System to boost his speed and/or stop time everywhere else.

Re: Sword Art Online
I was really glad they didn't have kirito win that duel, but wouldn't their commitments to the guild stop them from moving away? though i guess that could be the next part of the story, the guild lead by the (i assume) corrupt commander coming after them

Their relationship sure moves fast... I mean she was willing to sleep with him so soon. If this wasn't anime I'm sure he wouldn't have rejected. ;p
I'm not even going to attempt to make sense of how MMO sex works. I mean I doubt they scanned their bodies while naked. o_O;

Re: Sword Art Online
I was wondering how long that would take, but I agree. That was incredibly fast. I mean, the first time they even kissed was this episode I believe... Anyway, can someone who's read the book tell me if this is where 16.5 occurred?
