Best Anime Series - Winter 2012

Well, it's that time of the season again.

Titles were taken from here. If I missed one, please don't be afraid to tell me.

Overall, I think this was a pretty good season. I'm not sure if there were any particular stand outs, but there were a number of good shows and I don't think I've heard of any major bombs.

For me, my favorite of the season was probably either Another or Black Rock Shooter depite my bitching about them, so for now I'll go with BRS, though it may change once I see Another's finale in a couple days. I also liked The Daily Lives of High School Boys, however I have yet to watch the last couple episodes and comedies aren't really my cup of tea anyway.

Not gonna vote until they both end, but right now it's between Rinne No Langrange and Kill Me Baby, at the start of the season I would've said symphogear but eh

Ano natsu was just awful

I haven't watched BRS all the way through but I'm assuming it's still no better at explaining it's plot

5 - Highschool DXD

Keep in mind I still haven't watched many others. Like Another and Nisemonogatari.

Zero No Tsukaima

Might not have been the best, but that was the only one I watched.

If you liked the premise of the series at all, for the love of god read the novels.  I think the translations are up to volume 13 or 14 now, and they are infinitely better.  I don't even mean in the standard "source is always better" sense.  I mean like the anime completely diverted so many times that it isn't even funny.

As for my best of the season, only ones that I might not delete are Highschool DxD and Nisemonogatari.  Really, best show I'm watching this season is from last season: Persona 4.
