Just like kkslider5552000, they did end Reborn! The Reborn! manga is still selling well in Japan, and the Anime DVDs are still selling well too.Freyr wrote: More than likely that was the band mixing up the end of the arc with the end of the series. It *could* be a Shippuden-like relaunch as well I guess, but bet it was just a bad choice of words (hence why it was pulled from the band's blog). No way are they ending the anime though, to popular and a cash cow for them to pull it.Spoiler:

I thought the Bleach anime was not doing well in terms of ratings in Japan unlike in the case of Shippuuden and One Piece that were able to hold over loyal fans despite the length of the series..Freyr wrote: No way are they ending the anime though, to popular and a cash cow for them to pull it.

Indeed, the ratings for Bleach are terrible. And Naruto's ratings aren't all that brilliant either. But those animes don't need good ratings to go on because the DVDs sell quite well. On the other hand, an anime like Conan needs high ratings because the DVDs barely sell at all (movies being an exception).CoolKid3 wrote:I thought the Bleach anime was not doing well in terms of ratings in Japan unlike in the case of Shippuuden and One Piece that were able to hold over loyal fans despite the length of the series..Freyr wrote: No way are they ending the anime though, to popular and a cash cow for them to pull it.
That could be it, but would they really delete the post then? If it was simply just a mix-up, they could of just informed the masses that the band simply made an error, instead of wiping out the post and not commenting further on the subject.Freyr wrote: More than likely that was the band mixing up the end of the arc with the end of the series.
The logical thought is that they were asked to pull the statement from their blog by TV Tokyo or Viz or some rights holder. Then that is left as is to not incite any further action, letting the owner decide how to handle it. If it was one of those groups that submitted the statement and retracted it, then that would be another matter--those companies are sure to know more than the band licensing their music for an opening.ranger wrote:That could be it, but would they really delete the post then? Precisely my thinking... merchandising merchandising merchandising. Makes up for ratings, and bleach does do well in that front.Wakarimashita wrote:
