Out of those four, Agatha Christie. But in reality, Sir Terry Pratchett is the closest thing I have to God and if you add him to the poll please add a "remove vote" option so I can revote for him.

The thing is that he can't add the remove vote option after the poll was created (and even if a mod adds it, every time the poll will be edited, the remove vote option will disappear again), which is why this poll is problematic.

Out of the options, ACD. I love Christie too, but I grew up reading mostly ACD's short stories.
then there's Tolkien, Stieg Larsson, Bram Stoker, Stevenson, Ian Flemming and Robert Ludlum. I can name a handful Victorian writers whose works I love also.

Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, O. Henry, Bram Stoker, Isaac Asimov, Dashiell Hammett, Robert Louis Stevenson, John Dickson Carr, Dean Koontz, Stephen King (typing that out made me realize I do seem to have a preference).

Out of the choices, Doyle, but Christie is an extremely close second.

For that matter, I think the picture book I made in 1st grade for an in-school contest was a better work of literature than that... thing.

*cough* Anyways... Tamora Pierce has been my favorite author since 4th or 5th grade.
