Next book to be a movie

What books or book series do you want turned into a movie? I'm hoping Artemis Fowl shall be a movie in the near future.

If Neil Gaiman writes a screenplay for Good Omens, I will no longer need to live because nothing will ever be so good ever again.
Seeing any Pratchett book turned into a bigtime movie with a good budget, particularly something like Monstrous Regiment, Pyramids or Night Watch would be glorious.
Of course, I'm assuming you mean a good movie. Anyone who ever botches the above can expect my sword in their eye within 24 hours.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone is actually in the works, so I'm excited about that. I only hope they can pull it off well.

I'd forgotten about that series! It was so good!
I wish they'd try again at the Alex Rider and Eragon series. Not that it's likely at all. Or maybe a House of the Scorpion movie, I read that book at least 5 times.

Hm... well, only one book in the series and a few novellas (that I have yet to read) are out, but I would love to see an adaption of Throne of Glass. I love that book so much!
I would also love an adaption of Kristin Cashore's Graceling trilogy. I'm in the middle of the last book right now, and it's great.
As for a standalone book, I would also absolutely love it if Erin Bow's book, Plain Kate was adapted into a movie. That book really got me back into reading again. (I also recommend all of the books above to read!)

Yesyesyesyesyes! I read that book recently, and it's so awesome! I'd love to see it in movie-form.

I would also love a movie series based on the Across the Nightingale Floor series of books. Scott Westerfield's Uglies series could be a pretty epic series of scifi movies as well.

I actually haven't finished it yet. xD I was reading it until we had a Reading Workshop assignment in English III, and I told myself I would get back to it, but I never really did. xD I should finish it soon, though. Luckily I haven't misplaced it.

This so much.
Also, for fanboy purposes, they definitely should do a remake of A Series of Unfortunate Events. Although I'd still like Jim Carrey to play as Count Olaf.

^All of this *still needs to finish reading Good Omens*
Hmm... maybe Skuldugerry Pleasant? And probably some Discworld would be awesome too, though it would be hard to pull off IMO (fairly sure there's a Hogfather adaption already but I need to read the book for that first :x)

The Hogfather adaptation isn't bad, all things considered. 4 hours long even with cuts, but I suppose you can't fit these books into a movie easily. It has less Grim Squeaker than I like, but Michelle Dockery's Susan is brilliant and Marc Warren's Teatime is spot-on creepy awesome.

This world needs a Granny Weatherwax. So damn much.
(My ideal is Maggie Smith.)
