POLL: Physical or Digital copies?

As for myself, until this day and age, I'm still a sucker for physical copies of my games. I like to own the box and have them all lined up on my shelf and all.
For now, I own a PS3, a PSP, a 3DS and a Vita. All my PS3, PSP and 3DS games are physical. As for the Vita, I buy physical as much as I could but for some download-online titles like New Little King's Story and Earth Defense Force and classic PS1/ digital PSP games.

Moving away for college also means that I've left most of my collection and older consoles at home, but I'm starting to collect games all over again.

What about you guys? Do you prefer buying digital or physical copies?

Physical, definitely.  It's a pain to lug them all around, sure, but I like that I don't have to worry about what memory card has what on it (assuming the digital copy is stored on a memory card- depends on the platform).

Physical. I'm always afraid that I'll loose the file, and what Commi said.

Physical. PS3, Wii, Gamecube, N64, DS, Gameboy Advance, PSP are all the systems I have. Mostly because I prefer to actually own things. (It applys to manga, too. Give me a real book to an electronic copy any day V:) But I don't keep the games in their cases and lined up.

Big discs are kept in a CD holder for when we take the system somewhere else. We have 3 holders for GC discs. And I have a 'game purse' for my GB color and advance games, as well as my DS games. The PSP games are the only ones I keep in their casings, but I don't have nearly as many to carry around as the others.

So if I wanted to, I could take all of the games and systems in just a couple of boxes, a purse, and a bag. :V

Digital, as the number of CDs I've lost or scratched to death is quite large. Worst of all was the time my parents accidentally threw away maybe 7-8 of my gba games because they were in a pile of what looked like trash.

Digital.
I don't have so much space to keep them. And the CDs get scratched or end up in the wrong box and I search forever for the right game XD

Physical. Same reasons as stated above.

Physical though not as much as it used to be. I still like the cool boxes and having an actual collection.

I dunno... most of the games I buy are only in physical, but I have to admit I recently got into Steam and I'm a big fan.

This is a tough one for me, I'd have to go with digital.  While I'd probably say physical if they were the same price, that's never going to happen (at least not with PC games).  Plus, I recently lost nearly all of my Wii games, and even worse my GC memory cards :'(.  So if they were digital, I guess it would be harder for that to happen.  But I really do like having the physical copy, since nowadays most games can be fully installed onto the system anyway.  Except for handhelds, which is lame since they're the ones that would probably get the most use out of it >_>.  Guess it's just a Nintendo thing though.  Can the WiiU install games onto itself?

/rambling mess

Physical. Mostly due to my aversion to Steam (DRM!), but I also prefer to buy games that work no matter whether my connection is fine or whether the company's server is still around (digital copies usually don't work that way). Essentially, if I buy a game, I expect it to still be operational decades from now, and digital copies usually aren't.
