I did a search and no main thread came up so I created this thread.
So I'd like your critique on 4 of my in game decks in YGOC2011. I'm using the Up to One Forbidden Card ban list so if you see anything that shouldn't be there normally, the ban list is the reason. Any suggestions are welcome. However, please explain why the suggestions are better than the cards I have now.
Also please keep in mind that this game does not have new cards like Reborn Tengu and Tour Guide from the Underworld.
Six Samurai, Total Cards :41
Spoiler:
Monsters:212x Grandmaster of the Six Samurai
1x Great Shogun Shien
3x Kagemusha of the Six Samurai

2x The Six Samurai - Zanji
Spells:10
2x Gateway of the Six
1x Heavy Storm
1x Monster Reborn
2x MST
1x Reinforcement from the Army
2x Shien's Smoke Signal
1x Six Samurai United
Traps:10
2x Bottomless Trap Hole
3x Dimensional Prion
2x Double-Edged Sword Technique

2x Seven Tools of the Bandit
Extra Deck:15

2x Driven Daredevil
1x Goyo Guardian
3x Lengendary Six Samurai - Shi En
1x Mist Wurm
1x Scrap Dragon
1x Stardust Dragon
1x Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
Should I keep Shogun? It's easy for me to summon 2 monsters in one turn but if I have a bad draw and wind up with him, he's just sitting there in my hand. But when I do draw him while I have 2 or more Six Samurais on the field, an instant 2500 Atk is greatly appreciated.
Fabled, Total Cards: 41

1x Solemn Judgement
Extra Deck:15
1x Ally of Justice Catasor
1x Avenging Knight Parashath
1x Black Rose Dragon
1x Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1x Chaos King Archfiend
2x Fabled Ragin
1x Fabled Valkyrus
1x Goyo Guardian
1x Scrap Dragon
1x Stardust Dragon
1x Styglan Sergeants
2x The Fabled Unicore
1x Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
I was thinking of replacing Goldd with The Tricky. Similar to the Six Samurai deck, Goldd sometimes just sits there in my hand and does nothing until I draw a Raven. But when I draw them together or get a Raven through Grimro or through Krus from the graveyard, an instant Level 8 Synchro is not bad. But If I do replace him with The Tricky, Raven will remain a Lv. 2 and I can only summon 2 Synchros from my Extra Deck and they're both ok as opposed to the better Lv 8 Synchros.
Blackwing, Total Cards: 41
Spoiler:
Monsters: 22
3x Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North
3x Blackwing - Bora the Spear
1x Blackwing - Elphin The Ravin
1x Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind
3x Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow
2x Blackwing - Kochi the Daybreak
2x Blackwing - Mistral the Silver Shield
3x Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame
2x Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn
2x Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor
Spells:7
1x Black Whirlwind
1x Dark Hole
1x Monster Reborn
2x MST
1x Pot of Greed
1x Solidarity
Extra Deck: 15
1x Ally of Justice Catasor
1x Black Rose Dragon
3x Blackwing Armed Wing
2x Blackwing Armor Master
1x Black-Winged Dragon
1x Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1x Dark End Dragon
1x Goyo Guardian
1x Scrap Dragon
2x Stardust Dragon
1x Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
You might have notice that my deck has a lot of cards that will destroy my opponent's Spells/Traps. Maybe too much. Any suggestions for this? Also, I feel as though that this deck has lost its swarming abilities. Can someone identify the problem?
Dragunity, Total cards: 41
Spoiler:
Monsters: 21
2x Dragunity Aklys
1x Dragunity Arma Leyvaten
2x Dragunity Arma Mystletainn
3x Dragunity Dux
2x Dragunity Legionnaire
3x Dragunity Phalanx
2x Masked Daragon
1x Prime Material Dragon
2x Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
3x Red-Eyes Wyvern
Spells:12
2x Cards of Consonance
1x Dark Hole
3x Dragon Ravine
1x Future Fusion
1x Heavy Storm
1x Monster Reborn
2x MST
1x Terraforming
Traps:8
2x Bottomless Trap Hole
3x Dimensional Prison
1x Mirror Force
2x Seven Tools of the Bandit
Extra Deck:15
1x Five Headed dragon
2x Ally of Justice Catastor
1x Black Rose Dragon
1x Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1x Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg
2x Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana
1x Goyo Guardian
1x Red Dragon Archfiend
1x Scrap Draon
2x Stardust Dragon
1x Trident Dragon
1x Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
Should I keep Dark Hole? The deck has worked fine without it. I just added it when I was typing this and realized that I don't have one in my deck.

I haven't played the game in AGES. I still have a ton of cards, though.

I never really owned any cards. I have a handful somewhere, I think, but I was more into Pokemon cards. I'd kinda like to have my own deck now that I'm actually into the series, though. I once made a pretty strong Red-Eyes deck out of Lexi-kun's cards, but he wouldn't let me keep them, despite him having a billion cards (To be fair, I wouldn't give up that Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon...)

I typically built decks around Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Love it!

I wouldn't either. It's so good that I'm surprised that's not on the ban list as a Limited/Semi-Limited.

I have one that I got at a garage sale years ago because I'm a Kaiba fangirl I'm quite fond of the range of effects on the Red-Eyes set, though. Half of my strategy revolved around being able to summon powerful dragons free out of the graveyard. I recall one duel where I had R-E DMD, two Blue-Eyes, a Red-Eyes and something else that I forget but was upwards of 3000 ATK on the field. That was fuuuuuun.

REDMD does go well with almost any dragon deck. I'm also fond of the strategies that goes along with it. I had a duel on my YGOC2011 today with my Dragunity deck and my field was too little with the help of REDMD to contain the amount of monsters I was going to summon. Lol.
But's not fun to be on the other side of things though.

Yeah.... I recall beating my sisters many times. Of course, they'd figure out my strategies after one duel, so I was constantly rearranging them. They still beat me sometimes.

Yeah... It's depressing when you see your opponent's field filled with Monsters and can still summon/special summon more monsters when REDMD is on the field.
Well, most decks are built around a theme so it's not hard to figure out the strategies if you're familiar with the YGO metagame(never thought I'd use this word describing YGO) unless the deck is a gimmick.

Rereading Millennium World the other day because it's my favourite part of the manga, and I noticed a parallel in one particular scene that I hadn't noticed before. It concerns the end of Priest Seto's duel with the Pharaoh.
Spoiler:
The first time I read the duel, which ends when Kisara vanishes from the field and reappears inside of Seto's mind to blow away Akhenaden, I got deja vu, though I put that down to the twelve million times that the duel had been flashbacked to, even though the end of the duel had never been shown before. But I had also been reading the original manga run recently, so this time it hit me.
The first time Yugi and Kaiba meet, Kaiba steals Yugi's grandfather's BEWD and Yami challenges him to a shadow game, where the monsters in the cards come to life. This was back when the game was first made up, so it basically took the form of 2000 life points and the boys taking it in turns to draw monsters and throw them at each other. Kaiba's losing, so he slaps down the stolen BEWD, even though it wasn't in his deck, and declares an automatic win. But the BEWD won't attack- she doesn't belong to Kaiba, so she won't follow his will, and instead dissolves. Kaiba gets mindcrushed and spends some time in a wheelchair rebuilding his heart before shooting off to Duelist Kingdom to be badass.
Much later (or earlier), Akhenaden-possessed Seto duels Atem. He's summoned the BEWD to the duel and is winning, but when he orders her to strike the final blow, she refuses and dissolves. Kisara does not follow Akhenaden's will, so instead reappears inside of Seto's mind. Akhenaden gets mindcrushed into oblivion and the darkness in Seto's heart is purged.
I never noticed that parallel before, and now I just love the whole Seto-Kisara subplot even more. Apparently Takahashi-sensei had intended to go into much more depth with their story, but executive meddling made him have to rush past it to end the manga. GODDAMMIT EXECS!

I agree with all of that, especially the bolded part.

I read that in Abridged!Joey's voice.
The same thing I was reading said that Takahashi was on and off some pretty heavy medication while doing Millennium World. Explains a lot about Zorc.

Heya guys. It's been a while hasn't it?
I've come up with new decks/edits to my pre-existing decks so any constructive criticism are always welcomed. Here goes.
