Hehe.. That was cute. If Shin never shrunk, he would never ever become best friends with Heiji. I think.

Even if he wasn't Conan, Heiji would still go and challenge Kudo and probably lose, then be friends

I think even if Conan hadn't shrunk, he'd become friends with Heiji somehow, since Gosho-sama wants that to happen.
