If you haven't seen it, look up "Ip Man".  It's a good 'ol kung fu movie based on the life of Bruce Lee's teacher.

*LOOSELY* based on his life. The movie is wrought with inaccuracies, but it is still a good movie none the less.

I can recommend you:
Black Adder. (Rowan Atkinson is brilliant.)
FireFly
Dr Horrible's Singalong Blog
Any of the MST3Ks (Mystery Science Theater 3000)
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Any of the George Carlin stand ups
Any of the Eddie Izzard stand ups
The Twilight Samurai
La Femme Nikita
Doctor Who
Ong Bak (if the first one is still available)
Doctor Who
Torchwood
The Castle of Cagliostro
The Producers
Baccano
Louis CK
Chocolate (martial arts movie about an autistic girl)
Gangs of New York
This is Spinal Tap
Kick-Ass
Enter the Dragon
The Crow
Reservoir Dogs
Sherlock
****A CLOCKWORK ORANGE (If you haven't seen this you should put it on first before anything else)*****
The Secret of Nimh
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (With Jeremy Brett)
Naoki Urasawa's Monster
Avatar: The last airbender
Rescue Me
MacGyver
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

And that does it for those that I'd explicitly recommend from my instant queue
