I can't think of many ways to describe this game even half decently but this topic needs to be made entirely because of the genre and for being awesome.

I'm really interested by this game and I'd love to get it, but I don't want to pay 60 dollars and be disappointed; I disliked GTA4 a lot, but I really enjoyed Red Dead, so I'm at a crossroads here.
Will I still like this without having my own pony/slow down gun time? Also, I hear this game is more of a movie than a game, and it shows with the gameplay mechanics and such.

Look into renting it at Redbox, or sign up for a month of gamefly for like $10. Best way to test games.

Walbuls you are a god, and I'll let you decide which type of god you are.
I'll give you a hint, starts with S, ends with X.

And my god Parkur, get with da times, you're like a poor gamer talking about Portal 2 and LA Noire when BF3 and Skyrim are out

It isn't like the game was bad, FAR from it, but there was no reason why this should have been an open world game beyond every Rockstar game being open world. Even as someone who isn't always the biggest fan of open world games, pretty much every open world game I've played this gen outside of No More Heroes was more fun in that area (and No More Heroes overworld was almost certainly horrible on purpose).
