Need some help selecting some awesome Asian music

What what?! Kyuu needs help?! With music no less!?
Yes... Yes... For you see... I'm getting tired with the music selection at my job and I want to put something new and exciting on! (OK, not really exciting but certainly something new).
Now I work at a trendy little store that specializes in Japanese and European gadgets... but mostly Japanese... Think ThinkGeek with a concentration on Japanese products....
So what I need from you are suggestions for some awesome Asian music, preferably Japanese and Korean.
Now here is some criteria:
1) Cannot be metal or heavy rock (or anything heavy really)
2) Should be more or less pop
3) Has to be happy sounding
4) Synth is appreciated
I want at least a play list of approximately 30 songs. I really want some good music pumping through this store that I work in!
Thanks!
PS: I will not reveal what store I work in...

Synth? I would recommend Megumi Hayashibara, then. Especially her songs in the Slayers series. Her songs are the greatest.
I don't know what else to recommend for now... though, if I come across something, I'll share it in this thread.

Well it doesn't need to be synth.... However it fits in rather well with the store's image. Electronic music in general does... But I'm trying to keep it localized to Japan. Thanks for the suggestion... I'm looking into her music now.
However, if you know any other music that is happy... You can shoot it my way anyway. Regardless of the presence of synth.

First thought with synth in mind is Two-Mix. Typically fits the bill.
One great source to use is Pandora. Don't have as much Japanese as I would like, but still got a healthy collection. Trick is finding the right artists to input.
Then just let it go, automatically finds music that fit the style you are looking for as you continue to refine what songs you like and don't.
Other thoughts though not necessarily synth, Yui, FLOW, Orange Range, Tamaki Nami, T.M. Revolution, or one of my favorites, Ikimono Gakari.
Good luck in your search.

@freyer: I can't use pandora because I have no control over it... I need to make a stable playlist. I have to audition it to my boss before I can play it.
@azu: I'll check those out tonight or tomorrow for sure. Thanks.

Well as I said, I ideally want 30 songs... So I'll likely use multiple artists, and multiple songs from said artists... But I'm going to be very picky about what I will choose...

Meant to use it to find songs/artists that have the right sound based on your parameters. Then go externally and use youtube or something to actually demo the songs. Like I'll just put it on in the background and then do whatever, and when a good song comes on, take down the artist if I don't know them and look them up.
@azu very nice list
