Sherlock Homes and the Red Demon

Has anyone read this book? I have to do summer reading and saw that this book was on the list so i decided to get it. Im going to start reading soon. I want to know if anyone has read this and get some opinions about the book

Sorry to disappoint you Jconan, but this is such a bad book.
I have read it after finishing the original Sherlock Holmes's stories and a couple of pastiches.
This has got to be among the worst I have read.
If you want a good Holmes's pastich, why don't give "The Quallsford Inheritence" a try?
