Would people be interested in watching a Let's Play IN 2020!
Anyone?
If you don't know what a Let's Play is, it's basically like a video game walkthrough with commentary. I've always wanted to do one, just wanted to see if people actually wanted me to..
I was thinking of doing the newest Professor Layton seeing how I keep stalling to play it. Or anything else really.

I normal don't watch them as I don't like walkthroughs and prefer to beat the games without help.

Oh, oh, I would like to see your Let's Play
. As I have no plans of playing Professor Layton, I'll just watch your playthrough. I usually do this when I'm too lazy or too buzy busy to play videogames :p. I remember watching this one playthrough by some guy with the username Valis on youtube. I pretty much enjoyed his video, so this one might be entertaining as well

I just realized I spelt busy wrong

I's love to see you making some LPs
Wouldn't follow Prof Layton though...

I follow forum LPs (where they just screenshot with commentary) more than video LPs for the most part, but either way I'm not sure exactly how well a Layton game would go (especially in video form). The main appeal of Layton games is figuring out the puzzles, so either we'll be watching you struggle over puzzles we can see the answer to, or we get to see you just blaze past all of the puzzles (if you've done em before), which may diminish the fun of a Layton game imo.
But either way, I'd watch the first few episodes to see how it plays out.

Same here, I'd watch and see if its any good to give a commentary. ^^

Mafia: The only place where you can find Gin and Akai married together with 8 kids all disguised as Akai. Or something epic like that.

Layton sounds like a REALLY bad idea unless you're an experienced LPer.
I approve of LPs though.

Yeah that's what I figured and was kind of worried about with Layton, so that might not be the best choice. I can imagine me just being stuck on this puzzle for ages and I'm just like "uhhhh..." and you can hear me scribbling in the background.Akonyl wrote: I follow forum LPs (where they just screenshot with commentary) more than video LPs for the most part, but either way I'm not sure exactly how well a Layton game would go (especially in video form). If I have the time (and im not lazy) I'll try and set one up, so no promises, if I do something I'll post it here.

that's one of the advantages of forum LPs, if the person gets stuck somewhere you still only see them bothering to screenshot it once.ranger wrote:Yeah that's what I figured and was kind of worried about with Layton, so that might not be the best choice. also: just because it's an LP doesn't mean you have to do it unedited. I watched a guy LP FF4, no way I would have watched that if he kept all the random battles in.

You should do a Profesor Layton one. I'll watch it, and maybe I'll buy the game if it seems fun.
