The Harry Potter topic.

Yes. I am a fan. A huge one, actually.
So, I decided to make this topic because it's aboout 4 days left in America until HP 7: Part 1 comes out, and I was too lazy to read through to see if there was another topic.

(That, and I'm sure that if there is one, it's probably been inactive for months.)
So, feel free to talk about anything HP here! Though, there's 1 rule: DO NOT POST ANYTHING ABOUT THE 7TH BOOK UNLESS IT'S IN SPOILERS. There are some fans of HP out there who would much rather watch the movies than read the books.
Yeah... I'm not very good at creating topics in case you guys haven't noticed...

Emma is just awesome.
And that shirt is adorable.
Too bad she chopped off all her hair though.

I'll definitely watch it before the latest one is out.

Pretty much have to keep the books and movie storylines separate. There is so much that is different in the movies, especially in OoTP, that they really have their own story they tell that is similar to that presented by JK Rowling.
In any case, I do like the depth of the books more, but that is just a personal preference of liking reading. The Movies are great at telling their story, the books at telling theirs. Definitely looking forward to seeing Book 7 part 1

i almost know every line they spoke in Harry Potter book 1 when i see the movie.
so in my mind i am thinking to see a movie while flipping the pages of the book. but the movie skip chapters, change many of the story and that made some scene sound silly!
if i am the one who have the right.. i wouldn't call that crap movie as Harry Potter. but i will call it Happy Potty

You can just think of it the same as an anime that was adapted from manga.

Actually, I kind of agree with xpon. The movies are kind of awful.
I love the books though.

Ah, Harry Potter!
That series has consumed quite a bit of my time over the last eleven years, and I don't regret a bit of it. I'm both excited and sad to see the end of it.
