Last year a bunch of rappers were coined as being the "Future Of Rap" and with good reason since each of them released amazing mixtapes and were collaborating with some good names (Kanye, Lil Wayne, T.I., etc). The five main rappers were: Wale, Charles Hamilton, Kid Cudi, Drake and B.o.B.
So who do you think have had the best debut LP?
FYI the albums were:
Drake - Thank Me Later
Wale - Attention Deficit
Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon
B.o.B. - The Adventures of Bobby Ray
Charles Hamilton - The Pink Lavalamp*
My order:
The Pink Lavalamp > Attention Deficit > Thank Me Later > Man On The Moon > The Adventures of Bobby Ray
my expectations were:
Man On The Moon > The Adventures Of Bobby Ray > Thank Me Later > The Pink Lavalamp > Attention Deficit
*yes it was an album and was released for free by Interscope, it is NOT a mixtape. I'd still put his shelved "This Life Is Perfect" as second best album since Attention Deficit is a bit better.

Re: How Do You Grade The "Future of Rap"'s Debut Albums
I love Kid Cudi; I mean I don't like a whole lot of mainstream rap - I like a lot of underground stuff (one of my favorite artists ever is XV)
But yeah, I mean Drake is "acceptable" to me, BOB is waay to overplayed but I should give him some credit.
Kid Cudi is amazing - I'm actually planning on seeing him play this October

B.o.B put out some amazing mixtapes but a lot of his album was TRASH. 'Magic' sounded like it belonged on the Shrek 4 soundtrack.
I was a huge fan of Cudi's mixtape but his debut was a little too self absorbed for me. He tried to be too artistic and it's not as 'real' as his early stuff. and almost every song was him complaining about being a lonely stoner, it got old way too quickly for me.
I'm a big Drake fan (first three mixtapes were all fire) and while I was initially very disappointed with his album it has really grown on me (still a lot of wasted potential for the first album).
Charles Hamilton is just a musical genius. All of his music is free and he's put out more stuff in two years than a lot of artists have in their entire career.
