I just started DN angel and the i was surprised after episode 1 THE STORY REVOLVES AROUND A FAKE KAITO KID!!!!!!

Nah, it's probably more like Shadow Mario/Link and one of the items Kid used in the moonlight activated it and caused a dark clone to appear.

WTD!? ... And I thought only Evangelion had a copy (well ... actually 2 xD)

Eh? Probably not. I've seen a lot of "Kaitou" in anime. Not necessarily a KID, though. Besides it's a fantasy genre.

Kaitou just means Phantom Thief.  It's not a copy of KID, and it's prominent enough to have its own trope.

PS I knew about that 2 years ago, before there was a good upload of it... That is the first good version I've seen, so thanks for that...

I remember I was helping make Thanksgiving dinner that day and I was out in the living room peeling potatoes because the kitchen was really super crowded. My sister was watching the parade and all of a sudden I saw Rick Astley on a float, singing "Never gonna give you up". I was thinking "omg, this is like a giant rick roll." Not until awhile later did I realize that it was intentional.

So this is what people meant when they got confused as to who I was referring to on my L facebook page

Why would they confuse this with the Kaito Kid from Detective Conan

Is this show popular or something?
