About 3 or 4 years ago, I went to China and bought three Detective Conan PC games.
I didn't know if I could change the language option to English, but they were really cheap.
Well, I tried to play the game but I couldn't translate it.
Doesn't anyone else want a Detective Conan game... in ENGLISH?

I think there is only one DC game published in a language other than Japanese and it was for the Nintendo Wii.
I don't remember the name of the game tough, but it was a multilanguage release.

I'm not sure what language are the games I got but I can take pictures.
Can that game be played in English? I would order it in a heartbeat. I really want to play a DC game..

After a Google search, here's the website of the game:
http://www.detectiveconan-thegame.com/ and that's the publisher's site:
http://www.nobilis-games.com/
The game is localized for the European market (or
produced for the European market?

). It says it's available in 6 languages including English.
If you upload a picture we could identify the language.

I'm thinking about ordering the game, but when I clicked "Buy the Game" it goes to Nobilis.
Then when I go to the DC game, I can't find anything about a price or order form or anything.
I wonder how many mysteries (cases) are in the game. I hope it isn't like... five different murders and you win the game.
I'll take pictures of the game later and upload them.

It cost 9.25 Euros. So that's about $11.50.
It only has 12 investigation? Seems like a short storyline.
Oh, what mystery games have you played on the DS?
I'm a huge mystery nerd.

The Ace Attorney series (5 games) it's like the best around. It's investigation/trial emulation and it has some of the most awesome characters in it.
Cing made some good mystery/investigation games like Hotel Dusk.
Broken sword was great most of the time.
There are some ports of PC games as well.
And of course many adventure games that incorporate mystery elements.

I've played a bit of The Mirapolis Investigation on my boyfriend's hacked Wii. The camera angle is annoying as hell (you're at Conan's eye level and you CAN'T SHIFT IT!!) and I spent about two hours looking for the god dang plot (i.e. someone being murdered).
Its saving grace though is that you can shift the spoken language to Japanese and keep the text in English. (Granted this means the names don't match up with what they're saying in the Japanese version, but I don't think my brain could handle listening to the English Detective Boys and Haibara's horrible voice for more than an hour.)
Oh yes, and most annoying text message I kept receiving during the game: "It's no use going in there." (Over, and over, and over. I GET IT. I can't go in there. Stop showing me the stupid message!!!)

actually in Conan's world it takes him far longer to find the plot and is distracted by murders every 30-60 minutes. :D

I saw that this game existed and I found one on Ebay... I was thinking of getting it, but not sure it would play on our wii.... our wii is hacked so I can play anything just about, that I want, but sometimes, the other region code games just don't work. Anyone know if this one does? I'd love to give it a shot. I've played all the Ace Attorney games (I totally heart them!) and Hotel Dusk, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, The Sherlock Holmes games, I'm addicted, what can I say.
