I saw most of the S1 from watching my sis watch it on TV, seemed like they were going for some more oldschool hybrid atmosphere and settings or something.

I literally just realized the past 2 episodes immediately remind me of Lady Gaga songs. Sadly, none of the episodes are called Bad Romance though. Missed opportunity!
