I, for one, am a huge fan of the book (as you can see in my signature) and John Green; and I also enjoyed the movie very well.

Your thoughts?

I love the Green bros and I love John's books so of course I was going to see TFioS. The movie wasn't as good as the book naturally (the date was especially disappointing). Still I nearly drowned everyone because I was crying so much lol. The part where Issac, robot eyes, I sobbed. I went by myself to see the movie and was probably the oldest person there hahah.

Please forgive me going slightly off topic. But this topic header is part of a very famous quote and as such while not about the book I feel belongs here:

From Julius Caesar, Act 1, scene 2 by William Shakespeare

Why, man, he doth bestride the narrow world
Like a Colossus; and we petty men
Walk under his huge legs, and peep about
To find ourselves dishonourable graves.
Men at some time are masters of their fates:
The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings.

I read the book, haven't seen the movie yet. Don't know if I will, honestly. I have to be in a very particular mood to watch depressing movies, and that doesn't happen very often.

I liked the book well enough, but I wouldn't say I loved it, and I probably won't ever read it again.
