to be fair, movies based off of books are a terrible idea almost by default, full tv series like what anime/manga do really makes it obvious how much shouldn't be cut from an adaptation

Hell, even the first 20th Century Boys movie was only based off of like 4-5 volumes and they still cut out a ton of major scenes (the first real meeting with Friend, the airport, the fire right before the first time skip, the ENTIRE Ocho intro subplot (which is a shame as I loved that part) etc) And considering how much more there was and there were only two more movies, I can't imagine how much was cut from the sequels.

I was so sad when Colin turned up dead! It was even harsher because it was totally without drama or fanfare; just a few lines, briefly mentioning Wood bringing in a tiny body from the grounds... but his name went right up there with Fred's, Tonks' and Lupin's for Harry. I think he would've been happy about that.

I'd almost forgotten about that. But Tonks and Lupin's deaths weren't in detail either, iirc. I'm prepared to bet that Colin's death won't make it to the movies even if Tonks' and Lupin's do. Wonder if Dennis is going to be the one stalking Harry now.

I've seen it twice now too. My sister wanted to see it yesterday. I don't see how a person does not tear up or doesn't feel like tearing up while watching Hermione do that thing to her parents.
