I would like to speak on behalf of the folks who did this episode, and say we apologize for the sound quality, as apparently the podcast crew had frequent technical difficulties throughout the night. Southpaw can explain it better than I can, so Southpaw, I leave the floor to you~

yeah, so... um... if you hear a little echo, that's because we each recorded our own track which I mixed together afterwards, and there was feedback on at least one of them (which ended up being a blessing in disguise, because it actually helped me line up where each track was supposed to go).  The one good thing about doing it this way, was that I was able to adjust the levels of each speaker independently... and as such, kkslider was way easier to understand this time as opposed to his other appearance on our little show.  I don't know what we'll decide to do going forward, because in all honesty it was a pain in the butt since we all hit "record" at different times, but I'm not all that upset with the final product for this one

I haven't downloaded it yet but I have to apologize for my lack of interesting (or IIRC, just lack of) commentary outside of that one rant. I was really avoiding too much interupting or wit as I was paranoid of it causing something stupid to happen again (especially since, at that point, we weren't gonna stop recording until the end I believe). It doesn't help that me and southpaw had to basically repeat ourselves for the first dozen or so minutes while still sounding at least moderately interested and so skyechan wasn't just talking to herself. Again I apologize.

Ah, I just listened to the DCW Podcast episode... in the restroom (Ok, just kidding). And it was awesome ! I was totally amazed to hear Southpaw-chan and Skey-chan's voice ! I was like , "So that's her and her voice!"

Southpaw: Wow, Southpaw-chan! You speak so smooth and fast! And your voice is like... so feminine and ladylike! I love it! You were so COOL!

Skye-chan: Well, you didn't speak that much... but I like your ACCENT! And nice to meet ya!

CarpetCrawler: I heard your voice before (in the ep 0)... so I couldn't say I was surprised for the second time! You stutter a lot... and you says 'Ummm' pretty much. But hey, you speak pretty good! And... I have a piece of advice to you say Carpet-san... Please be more gentle with the ladies ! Don't say stuff like, 'bums, jerks, meany, etc.' to them! It's not popular to say those to girls...! I mean I'm not trying to be rude here... When Skye-chan interrupted you one time. You told her that she is mean and rude. She said sorry , but you just ignored her !
Anyway, thank you for all of the effort B)! I really enjoyed listening to the podcast! Thank you! [Sorry, I can't post anymore images {Onion emoticons}]! My first impression when I heard your voice was, "Wow, this was the guy who answers my questions in Facebook. Cool!"

I just listened to DCW Podcast ep 02. And it was… AWESOME! But before that, I would like to point out something… from episode 1 of the podcast; I actually mistook Southpaw for CarperCrawler…! …Uhm! I mean I mistook Skye-chan for Southpaw! Oh my god, I’m so sorry! I was going to edit my feedback up there, but it’s too late since I think you’ve already read it. I really thought that Southpaw was Skye-chan, because I ridiculously thought that the moderators would speak the most… and I wasn’t really paying attention at the first bit (when you were introducing yourselves), oh my goodness… I’m so ridiculous… Ehhh *sigh*¬ I’m so sorry Southpaw-chan and Skye-chan (I know that you wouldn’t have minded anyway)… so sorry, I beg you the humblest apology… Forgive me…! I didn’t mean to be rude… please forgive me…! *sob**sob*

Anyway, you guys were totally awesome! I like the way how you folks talked about Detective Conan, and how the first time you’ve seen the series, how you got hooked into the show, and how you’ve become crazy fans ! Really, it was just so cool! And Carpet-san, is your brother a fan of Detective Conan? I guess the answer would be ‘no’, hehehe, my sixth sense… And… umm… I really liked the MegureXAgasa pairings (Heck no!)…

I would like to uhm… suggest some topic ideas if you don’t mind. It is just some suggestions; I wouldn’t be upset or anything if it weren’t taken.
What about discussing some unsolved mystery in Detective Conan ? Like:
• Shuuichi Akai’s Death Theory: Is Akai-san really dead? If he was still alive how’d he got away from the incident? And if he is really dead, then who is the Scar Akai?
• Okiya Subaru: Do you really think that Okiya Subaru is a member of the Black Organization? And some people think that he is actually Akai in disguise…
• The Secret behind Vermouth’s Youth: What’s the secret behind Vermouth’s youth? Masaka… APTX4869!??
• The connection between Gin and Sherry: What’s the connection between Sherry and Gin? Could it be… could it be… her real father?!
• The connection between Haibara and Akai Shuuichi: Nah… I don’t know…

Or talk about members in DCW and DCTP... I’m sure that will get everyone (here) hooked . Haha!
Or talk about Gosho’s life and history, how he became an artist and all that? Some of Detective Conan fan I know, they don’t even know DC author’s name is! They just watch and read having no idea who made it!
Or… umm… your favourite characters in Detective Conan… And why you like them and stuff…
And umm… talk about your (CarpetCrawler, Southpaw, Skye-chan, etc.) hobbies, habits, what do you do in free times, your talents, your careers, etc.

Hah~ I’ll suggest more ideas later when I have some lamp-pops in my head~ Jaa naa!

By the way, that doushinji you mentioned in the podcast, I’m really so curious, what IS IT!? Can you show it to us (or rather share it with us), please~ ?

I had listened to this ages ago, and was too lazy to comment because I was busy. I'll give episode 3 and 4 its respective comment, and I hope you like it...
Nice to hear there was a 4th person. I enjoyed listening to it... and KKslider is just AWESOME! I love his accent, not to mention I've never heard of it... he sounded kind of my older brother that just came from England. And I almost think that it may be him since they sound similar... but, nah~ unfortunately, my brother is not fan of Detective Conan.
It's nice to hear opinions of the things you've watched.
And I agree with KKslider-san, Movie 13 is awesome! Especially the fighting scene at the end...
One of mys siblings who isn't even a fan of Conan (but likes it in a way) loved it! He thinks it's great... so haha...!
My favorite OVA (I was surprised when I heard it's pronounced as O-V-A, because I'm always referred to it as ova... reading the entire thing... like OVA. Without seperating the words.) is: OVA 01, 04, 08, 09, 10
The funniest of all I think it's OVA 8.
My favorite movies are: Movie 05, 06, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.
