Spoiler:
So it could be a "happy" ending. Jacob was one of my favorits, even though I didn't like him much either. But I would have been much happier if he died, that would have been a better ending. I'm not a fan of people dying but sometimes the story is better when that happens. But then again, I think that the whole werewolf impreting-thing, or whatever it was called, is weird and unappeling.

:P or maybe you SHOULD read it and see what you maybe should do to tap into the tween market and make a lot of money. :O
In that case I should probably read then Harry Potter instead.

Personally I don't like what's going on in the last decade with books. People love cliches, people love one dimensional characters, people love Mary Sues (hp and twilight), people love bad romances, people love deus ex machinas, people love cheesy stuff.
If you combine everything together, you end up with.......something really terrible.

Anyway, I'm gonna mail my query letter to the litarery agent who represented Twilight today. Funny thing is, in the site of the litarery agency it says
Please send us a query letter of no more than two pages, which includes your credentials, an explanation of what makes your book unique and special, and a synopsis. Also, please include a self-addressed-stamped-envelope for our reply, which generally takes six to eight weeks.
any idea what could Meyer have written for the bolded part?  ;D

My fav author would probably be Keigo Higashino. His mystery novels are quite interesting.
I like his Detective Galileo series and his latest novel "Shinzanmono"

I guess I have two favourite authors. One for serious stuff (Ray Bradbury) and one for more fun, entertaining books (John Green). Conan Doyle would still rank pretty high up there :)
'Songs of Myself' by Walt Whitman wrote:You shall no longer take things at second or third hand, nor look through

You shall not look through my eyes either, nor take things from me,
You shall listen to all sides and filter them from your self.

What?  ??? where are you getting this from? There are no vampires in Twilight (if you know what I mean)
RubberStamp wrote: I'd have to disagree with point number 2. From what I've observed, the book first becomes very popular and then gets made into a crap movie - like Eragon, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Inkheart to name a few.
You misunderstood. Of course the book has to be first of all popular, otherwise no studio will want to make a movie out of it. But the movie can add more popularity. Like for example, after watching the first LOTR movie, I went to read the other two books.
There are only sparkly fairies in twilight...

Hm... My favourite book (right now) is Pet cemetary by Stephen King.
Rose madder is second.

it's a good series
a combination between myth and modern world - just like percy jackson and the lightning thief, but more.. how do I say it, mature? And it's not limited only to greek myth.

... since I am too lazy to type.. BAM! A LINK!
