bit late but... I can't believe our current doctor is going to regenerate in this Christmass. OH MAN I LOVED THIS DOCTOR... This is going to be one sad christmass... I actually thought he would be here for at least 4 years... But I guess he has his own plans...But at the same time I am excited to see who is going to play our 12th Doctor ( speaking of him... I hope steven moffat remembers valeyard Because According to Master in Trial of Time Lord Valeyard is Doctor's Future regeneration between 12th and future generation.... Yeah Valeyard SHOULD play some role in this generation.

She was brought up in "the Rings of Akhenaten", which was the first time she's been mentioned in the new series, so you never know. Again, I'm torn between wanting to see her and not wanting Moffat to write her. (I realized why I don't really care about Clara; she really is exactly the same as River and Amy, meeting the Doctor as a child and her holw life revolving around him. She doesn't have much character beyond her relationship with the Doctor, and that bothers me. Rose was able to remake the universe because she was hardcore, not because her entire existence was wrapped around the Doctor. Martha battle through a horrific timeline to rewrite time also because she herself was hardcore, and she rightfully decided to GTFO when she realized she was crushing on the Doctor and that this wasn't a good idea rather than wrapping her existence around his. Donna was the most important woman in the universe because she was AWESOME. Amy, River and Clara all basically spent their lives being useful to the Doctor rather than just naturally awesome, and it bothers me.)

Oh, but clara is hardcore... rather than just depending on the Doctor she does what she thinks is best, like picking up the chair and smashing it into a computer, because she knows the Doctor can't solve every problem.
If you tell me that doesn't make her awesome then look at all the companions ever thinking the Doc sloves everything...

Been marathoning the Matt Smith series. Finished series 5, on disc 4 of series 6. Just got to the reveal of River Song, and holy crap. The hype! The hyping hype!

None of it's quite as good as the RTD era, in my opinion. The reveals about both River and Clara both kinda piss me off.
