I played that more than Animal Crossing on the gamecube.  Though I prefer Joust, just because it feels more appropriate for the type of game that it is.

it's been so long I'm not sure anymore if people ever bought that series for reasons other than fanservice.

Especially since even the game that came out in 2001 was considered fairly mediocre.

I LOVE that game and I didn't buy it for that. XD

I bought it because I loved the story line. I played the demo recently and i'm not entirely sure whether or not they ruined it. DX

Mediocre? What about DOA 4? didn't that come out later than 2001? It was a VERY good game in my opinion. The story-line was great and the ends scenes were..... fun. XD

I'm excited for the new one... I just hope that without the Gosho Aoyama of their company gone that they didn't completely screw it up.
