It's cool with me, since you're actually getting back into comics.  The only ones I'd scream BANDWAGON about would be those who see the movies, don't know a damned thing about the comics and don't intend to rectify that, yet still say they "like comics" because of the movies.

Mmm, true. I have a couple of friends with whom I regularly have conversations like this:

Me: That's funky. Turns out Hawkeye was deaf in the comics.
Friend: What? But that wasn't in the movie!
Me: I know. That's why I said in the comics. I guess they didn't bother putting it into his movieverse self because he'd already working with SHIELD and I guess they'd already have super-hearing aids for him or something. It's not a character trait they'd have time for in the movies, but it's kinda interesting, don't you think?
Friend: Where do you find stuff like this?
Me: ...in the comics?

I saw that before... that was hilarious XD (Although they got the roles reversed when Loki nearly fell off the Bifrost... then again, Thor tried to save him, not drop him.)

It took me a long time but I FINALLY got to see the Avengers. And needless to say it was <3. It was very much <3. I have to admit I'm not one for epically hyped movies, in fact most times I hate them (Avatar is probably one of the biggest examples), but I LOVE superhero movies....and I also know a lot of the Avengers backstory as my mom is an avid marvel comic collector (mostly Fantastic 4 and Avengers) Samuel L. Jackson is marvelous as Samuel L. Jackson though....and Jeremy Renner....amazing Hawkeye actually the entire cast was amazing....Mark Ruffalo was definitely the best of the three Hulks (from the 2000s) and with that in mind Science Bros for life <3

(I still don't understand all the fangirl love of the dude who plays Loki though....his eyes are ungodly creepy and he doesn't wash his hair.)

Tom Hiddleston himself is quite a sweet guy and I guess he's kinda pretty normally, but as Loki the whole point is to look creepy as all hell and he does it very well with the greasy hair and the crazy eyes and the crazy grin and the crazy crazy. But you wouldn't think it to trawl DeviantArt. Fangirl-o-vision has turned him into the God of Bishie.

I ain't doubting that, he could be the sweetest guy on this green earth for all I care, I just don't see how he's all high and mighty...*gets flayed alive by the Tom Hiddleston fangirls including my little sisters* I'm more of a fan of Jeremy Renner but I already told ya that....Clint is amazing in the comics and he's damn amazing in the movie. Have to admit though....my ma was a bit mad when she found out about good ol' Nick Fury being Jackson'ed....hehehe. And I'm also betting that if she knew about the JRBB she would probably be in it....:x

I am, as ever, a Robert Downey Jr fangirl, but I will admit to having a lot of love for Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and both Chrises, and a ridiculous amount of love for Mark Ruffalo. I never thought anybody would be able to turn Bruce Banner, as a character, around like that. His acting skills, I worship them ♥

I have to agree with ya, the Avengers' Hulk is the best Hulk so far.

I've always liked Mark Ruffalo though so when my sisters told me that Edward Norton wasn't playing him and someone else was I was like....eh? Then I saw who it was and was like 'okay this is fine.'

Edward Norton was alright, although the more I watch that movie the more I feel like the Hulk has more personality than Banner. The complete lack of chemistry with Liv Tyler didn't help.

Also, I can't see the Bruce/Tony bromance working as well with Norton. I'm not sure why. Probably because it works so damn well with Ruffalo.

Mind you I've had a mini fangirl crush on Mark Ruffalo for some time....so when Morgan (my little sister) told me that was who it was I about squeed in happiness.

Whatcha talking about Liv Tyler doesn't have good chemistry with anyone....except for maybe a smidge little bit with Viggo Mortensen.....

Orlando Bloom has chemistry with Viggo Mortenson. Billy Boyd has chemistry with Viggo Mortenson. EVERYONE has chemistry with Viggo Mortenson.

Also... I've given up resisting. It's happened. I've started writing Avengers oneshots, mainly because TheAvengersHeadcanons is a ridiculous breeder of plunnies.

I would have to agree there...I'm thinking about following that blog....since I only follow one thing on tumblr and it has nothing to do with the Avengers....

And sidenote....Viggo Mortensen is a MALE chemistry magnet! Mario Bello - no chemistry Liv Tyler - No chemistry

(All the males listed yes...I agree)

TheAvengersHeadcanon is fun, especially if you're into Jeremy Renner's butt. (Though I'm not really a butt woman. I'm more there for the plunnies.)

So apparently, if Fox doesn't make another Fantastic 4 movie in the next three years, the rights default to Marvel. Which isn't soon enough to get them into Avengers 2, but it would be fun to have them in this universe. I kinda wish they were introducing more than one new superhero before the next Avengers movie. A major part of this one was the six current members coming together as a team, and while I love how they're all total bros now it feels like there needs to be some kind of conflict to keep character interactions interesting. I don't think breaking in just one new guy's quite enough for that- it would be fun to see them interacting with, and possibly clashing with, another superhero group the next time they all come together. Thoughts, anyone?
