Re: Nintendo 3DS anyone???
I love watching corporate asskissers defend this. It's like the over the top corporate parodies wrestling did in the late 90s.
Capcom still has some of the worse PR in recent memory, to the point that I think it's just robot PR rebelling against them for betraying their master Megaman.

Has Capcom had some sort of CEO change or something? I don't remember their PR being this dickish before

Re: Nintendo 3DS anyone???
That's what i've heard so far. Just go onto Eshop and then you should be liable to get the free games. I heard the free games will be released around the beginning of September. I'm waiting for more updates from:Conan324 wrote: im confused, if i logg on the eshop before 11 august will i get free games? if it has to be at 11 8?

Wait I just went on a video and someone said this:
"If you have a Nintendo 3DS already, it would be a good time to make a Club Nintendo account now or before August 11th. Since you get 20 free games, on Club Nintendo you will get, "Post Play" surveys for the downloadable games that are free. Which would give you 200 free coins."
So in order to get the free games you MUST have a club nintendo? .__.' I think I'll wait until i get a good report...

Re: Nintendo 3DS anyone???
And Here's a letter to us (from Iwata) gamers who bought 3DS's before the price drop on Aug. 11:
To Those Customers Who Bought A Nintendo 3DS Before The Price Change
Greetings, everyone. This is Satoru Iwata from Nintendo.
Thank you very much for purchasing a Nintendo 3DS.
We have just announced a price drop for the Nintendo 3DS system effective on August 11 [August 12 in North America].
In the past, there have been price drops for video game systems some time after their release in order to broaden the user base further. However, never before has Nintendo chosen to issue such a dramatic price drop less than 6 months after a system release.
We are all too keenly aware that those of you who supported us by purchasing the 3DS in the beginning may feel betrayed and criticize this decision.
This unprecedented timing for a price cut is because the situation has changed greatly since we originally launched the 3DS. We decided it was necessary to take this drastic step in order to ensure that large numbers of users will continue to enjoy the 3DS in the future.
If the software creators and those on the retail side are not confident that the Nintendo 3DS is a worthy successor to the DS and will achieve a similarly broad (user) base, it will be impossible for the 3DS to gain popularity, acquire a wide range of software, and eventually create the product cycle necessary for everyone to be satisfied with the system.
Those customers who purchased the 3DS at the very beginning are extremely important to us. We know that there is nothing we can do to completely make up for the feeling that you are being punished for buying the system early. Still, we would like to offer the following as a sign of our appreciation to you.
[3DS Ambassador program details]
We feel a strong responsibility to develop the 3DS as a platform — to ensure that, in the end, everyone is satisfied; we will make every effort to do so.
Additionally, we know everyone is waiting for Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7. They are scheduled for release in November and December, respectively, so we ask for your patience until then.
Thank you again, and we look forward to your continued support.

No, I agree with you. I thought the Nintendo Video was going to be a recording thing not a "we'll send videos to you and you get to watch it on your 3DS" thing. >__> The Flipnote Studio better impress me~Wolf421 wrote: Am I the only one who hates the Nintendo video?
And on another note, if you haven't read the update on the 3DS news on your 3DS, they announced that YES in order to get your free games, you have to go onto the Eshop before Aug. 11 or 12th, depending on where you live. Once you have gone on Eshop, they'll make you an Ambassador and the free gameboy and SNES games will happen on Sept. 1st. We'll get to see gameboy/SNES games before everyone is able to see it. I'm personally going to wait for a while to see what other games I can get. Use this once in a lifetime opportunity wisely for I doubt Nintendo will do this again soon.

Re: Nintendo 3DS anyone???
So like, apparently with the ambassador program, the NES games, will not have multiplayer from day one, but will get it with an update.
The GBA games are a different story. They are not being redone to have wireless, nor can the the 3DS enter sleep mode. There won't be a suspend feature either.
I guess we can rule out Pokemon ever coming to the Virtual Console.
EDIT: So like, my 3DS has a defective speaker. Been thinking on sending it in but, the Flame Red 3DS is released in NA on September 9th, So I will send it in after that, and hope that I can get a different colour. That way, I can have all the games from the ambassador program, but also have a Flame Red 3DS.

Re: Nintendo 3DS anyone???
no, Nintendo will find a way to get Pokemon on there. It will make too much money to not do that.

Re: Nintendo 3DS anyone???
Honestly, the only one I see them putting on would be Pokemon Yellow. The rest are either too similar to recently released versions still available or too likely to be the next port (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) that gets made.

Re: Nintendo 3DS anyone???
First of all the E3 videos were release on for 3 weeks after the the announcement of the E3 conference. Second the release date of the Super Marion and Mario Kart were release by Nintendo themselves.
