And if you do, get Tom Hiddleston's autograph for your fellow fangirl who is like a younger sister for you. :D

@KL: I saw that on Tumblr. IF it's official, then I love Marvel.

And I think it might give me a reason to switch to the timeline on facebook... XD

I really don't see Thanos being the Thor 2 villain.  Thanos is a universal level threat, even greater than Galactus (the real Galactus, not the space cloud they used in the movie).  I could maybe see "Those Who Sit Above in Shadow" as the villain, but I don't know if they really fit with what was said in the first movie.  Thor's big problem is that he doesn't have a varied rogue gallery.  He has Earth-bound villains like Radioactive Man, Absorbing Man, the various other members of "The Wrecking Crew", etc., and he has the Asgard villains.  He doesn't really have much beyond that.  So, if they don't end up fighting on Earth, expect more Norse-based villains.

Or maybe it will be the guy who seems to be Thanos' right hand man? Because that's usually who is, before the big guys.

Also, who do you guys think will be the villain in Iron Man 3?

Norse mythology had quite an interesting range of monsters aside from Jotuns. Interviews so far suggest that Thor will be travelling across the nine realms and the movie is frequently referred to as an "epic", so I'm expecting some messed up giant trolls or dwarves or giant snakes or something. What I've read of Thanos suggests that he's big enough for Avengers 2, so I'm kinda hoping he gets held over until that.

The Iron Man 3 villain is going to be the Mandarin.

^Oh... reading his wiki right now... so he's Iron Man's archenemy, eh? This will be interesting... I hope it'll not be as bad as Iron Man 2. That just seemed like a mess, imo.

EDIT: @KL: seems to be really official, as the page seems to be the official FB page for the Avengers...

Indeed.  And honestly, I think there would've been an uproar if they hadn't used one of Iron Man's big named villains this time.  Whiplash was nice and all, but he was relatively minor in the grand scheme of the movie for Iron Man 2.  Though I wouldn't mind seeing Fin Fang Foom.

If you don't count booze as his true archenemy, yes.  :P

There was actually a bad guy called Fin Fang Foom? That's amazing XDXD

Also, does anybody know if it's possible to read Marvel comics online, like you can with most manga? I feel like I should read more comics but honestly have neither the money nor the inclination to go out and buy tons. The local second-hand shops only have twelve billion Beano and Oor Wullie annuals.

Yes.  He's a giant ass dragon.  I'm not sure where his name originally came from, but I like the reasoning they gave in EXiles.  He rises from the water, and first you see a giant fin.  Then you see his fangs.  Then a FOOOOOM as he spews fire on you.

Yes, but it's difficult.  You either have to buy them through their stupid store at ridiculous prices, or pirate them.  Unlike manga, there isn't a hub for the american comics, as they actively press against them.  Not only that, but if you do find torrents or whatever, they're in some cryptic format that you need a special reader for.  I wouldn't say it's worth it.  Some of the really old stuff might be easy to find if Marvel/DC uploaded it to their sites or something, though.

Marvel has tons uploaded to their site, but you have to pay the monthly subscription T_T IF I COULD AFFORD TO PAY FOR COMICS I WOULDN'T BE TRYING TO READ THEM FREE ONLINE, WOULD I?!

You even need to pay for most of the older comics. Surely once a comic reaches twenty or so they should put it up free? I mean, by the time a comic's that age, probably the only people who still have paper copies will have them in plastic bags or something and never touch them ever.
