Re: Arrow/The Flash (The CW Series)
Can't say I'm a fan of The Flash show so far. It sort of looks like a mix between Smallville and Spiderman, so the style of the show barely distinguishes itself.
I was also somewhat disappointed that Barry turned out to be a nerdy type hero, cause... well in the cartoon he was always this sarcastic jokester, and I thought it'd be great if we finally got a live action superhero with that personality. This isn't to say the show is doing something wrong, I just hoped for something... more novel I guess.
I somewhat have a bit of a suspension of disbelief problem too. Every time a bad guy manages to hit him (like, regular punches and kicks), shouldn't Barry be able to easily avoid them? His reaction and body speed should be much faster than, let's say, someone who can merely clone himself.

Should be a lot of fun. The last episode of Flash was the best one yet, for my money.

It'd be fun if they both chatted about their horrible timing concerning their not-girlfriends!Jd- wrote:

I feel sometimes slightly underwhelmed by the flash, but I'm not giving up, Agents of SHIELD made me feel a bit like that sometimes last year, and look where it went

I really want to get more excited about it, that "omg I can't wait for next week" that lasts longer than a few hours after I've seen the episode.

Barry being a scientist/nerd was always the case, the character you're thinking of is Wally West (who was originally Kid Flash).

Not that having an issue is a bad thing, I'm just saying why it doesn't bother me.
