Someone married their Avatar to Cordelia.  :P

But yeah, both of them are nuts.  My Morgan came from Lucina, so she gets the extra firepower of Aether.  Both are ridiculously strong, but they aren't tearing through everything that breathes like Lucina and Owain are at the moment.  They won't die, but they sometimes leave an enemy standing.

It's not so much that they changed it, per se, but it's similar to FE8 (Sacred Stones) where there are maps (like the Marth DLC and random Risen battles) that let you get as much experience as you want.

My avatar got married to Stahl. XD It wasn't exactly planned, they just ended up fighting together a lot so I let it happen. V:

And Chrom married Sumia. Working on training her and Ricken and Stahl up to hopefully badass levels.

PT's gonna get a Pega-Pony Princess!

(I usually pair Chrom with Olivia, just because I wanted Swordmaster/Myrmidon on my Lucina.  Plus, Inigo looks like Chrom, so it feels wrong for them to not be related.)

I'm dying to get Awakening.

Until then, people who have it

Permadeath, or no Permadeath?

For me, i prefer to have the original difficulty and gimmick of the series. Permadeath on

I do perma-death on because otherwise I'll play more recklessly knowing it won't matter.

Also, I really, REALLY wish you could choose Morgan's gender.  Male Morgan is such a knob that it makes me never want to roll a female Avatar, but the female Avatar looks and sounds soooooooooo much better than the male Avatar.

By the way, for those wondering, there are slight dialogue changes if your Avatar marries either Chrom or Lucina.  I went with Lucina, and it was rather gripping, though I imagine female Avatar would've been better, since she's got a better voice.

I feel like Fire Emblem isn't Fire Emblem without perma-death.  That's part of what got me into the series in the first place, the only other turn-based strategy game I really like is Frozen Synapse.  FF: Tactics was pretty good too though, iirc.

I have permadeath on. It would feel weird not to have it.

Also I didn't want to marry Chrom to my avatar. :P I'd rather marry Chrom to one of the girls that are definitely supposed to be involved in the plot. V: Avatar got to marry whoever she to got to S with first.

Girls involved in the plot:  Female Avatar, Lucina, Flavia, Emmeryn, Say'ri, and to a lesser extent, Lissa.  Only one of those is an option for Chrom to marry.  :P  (For reference, there's even fewer males.  Seriously, the whole Chrom x Avatar bromance really creeped me out at the end.  Like, it was equal to or greater than the bromance one would see in Scrubs.)

It was too much work to keep Chrom away from everyone for like 10 chapters so he could marry Olivia. :P

Also, considering how far along I am in the game (just killed Gangrel) and the fact I just read spoilers regarding the Tactician, I feel like I can be excused for expecting him/her to be another one like in FE7. :P Also saying that they were involved in the plot was a bad way to word it. What I meant was "girls that would still be part of that universe if the Tactician never showed up." (Also I feel weird referring to that person as Avatar now because every time I do, I think of Avatar: The Last Airbender. He/She is definitely not the Avatar. I think.)

[me=PhoenixTears]sort of wants to see this Chrom/M.Tactician bromance though.[/me]

Also. Dancers with swords. WTF.

Not an unwelcome change though. But basically everyone uses weapons now apparently. V:

Everyone but Priests and Troubadours, yeah.

Also, finally paired up the last two women in my army who I hadn't paired up, despite beating the game.  Miriel with Kellum, and Maribelle with Stahl.

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.
